Great service, bad chips

First, this place has excellent service! However the big drawback for me was that they serve you store-bought chips (big no no). The salsa is good but the chips.... Didn't stay for a meal, just drinks, but if the chips are store-bought what else is. Maybe a little picky but I could stay home and eat chips like that.
- Pros: Service
- Cons: chips
Family-friendly, Tex-Mex eatery boasts award-winning food and seriously festive decor.

In Short
Fiesta music mixed in with a few oldies and the occasional alternative favorite floats through the bright restaurant decorated with multi-colored faux parrots and enormous sombreros. We're talking heaping plates of Tex-Mex here, such as award-winning enchiladas, plump, golden chimichangas, and sizzling platters of fajitas. Barbecue lovers will be pleased to find barbecue chicken enchiladas and barbecue brisket tacos and calorie counters can partake in the low-fat dinner choices like pollo de ajo.

The best enchiladas & margaritas in Austin! I love this place! It has been here for 20 years, and they have really kept up the great quality. But, what made the meal wonderful was the attentive service of the waitress and the manager who came by the table to be sure everyone was happy, now that makes a world of difference when it comes to service. Not many managers will do that but here they do and thats what keeps me coming back!!! And the music on Friday nights is fantastic!"
Yummy!

What can I say, this place is a great little restaurant where you can go and be sure that you'll get great food with nice service. They try to be so accomodating to customers needs. For example, I can't eat anything too spicy so I had to ask for them to prepare my food a bit on the bland side. They were absolutely wonderful in making sure my order came out just as I had requested. Even the owner was kind enough to come and check on us to see if everything was up to par. (They're customer service is probably one of the many reasons why they have 4 locations in Austin now) This is one restaurant I recommend highly for Mexican food.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Accomodating, Delicious Food
