Horrible experience

I usually go to Veedub Austin for car repairs but they were booked and this was urgent. I took my car to Kenny Hill and they were very nice. Although the labor may have been a little expensive they got the job done. After picking up my car, and heading to whole foods to meet a couple of friends, we found a large dent at the top of the passenger side door. This dent was not there when i dropped it off, so i called right away to ask about it. They transferred me to Bill who told me it was already there. We drove back to meet with Bill who completely denied it. The dent was obviously from something in the shop, which he refused to let us walk around. He also refused to give us the name of the mechanic who worked on the car. Bill was extremely defensive about the whole thing. Don't go to their shop,

Great Audi service in South Austin

Took my Audi A6 to have a timing belt changed. They were much less expensive than Audi wanted for the same work, and had it done in a day. Very polite staff and they even had my car looking super clean when I picked it up. Highly recommended!

Highest Prices Out there

The last time I used Kenny Hill, they left a huge pipe hanging about an inch above the concrete, and it seemed very dangerous, so I had to tell them to fix it so that something else didn't get messed up, and I'd have to spend even more money on my car with them.

I haven't used them in a long time, and thought I would call to get a quote on something, I'll just say they gave me the highest quote out of 4 places, and 650$ higher than the place I will be going to. I'll never go back, they seem to like their money, and not give a break to the little guy. They were even higher than both dealership places I called to get a quote.

Great honest and friendly service at a fair price

Gradually restoring a '68 Karmann Ghia will get you into a lot of repair shops, especially when it's also your everyday transportation. And I have been to many. In several cities. These guys are the best. They know what they're doing, and they have always been straightforward with me. And I can't say I've had a $5 car repair anywhere else. When I finally acquired a non-Volkswagen, I even called them for recommended shops for American cars. I trust no other car repair shop like these guys.

Honest, Caring, Thorough!

I recently stopped into Kenny Hill's Autowerks (he was willing to squeeze me in at the last minute) to have my 02 jetta checked out because the "check engine" light had come on when i was running errands. I stopped in, and Kenny took his time to test everything. He made several really good suggestions and advice on my car and explained what everything meant. He was able to quickly take care of the issue. Not only that, he w-d 40'd all of my doors to stop the squeaking, and, washed my car for no extra cost.

I would recommend Kenny to anyone. He is thorough, honest, and straight-forward. With all of the scamming going on between auto repair shops, I felt such a wave of relief walking out of there knowing exactly what I received.
