Complaint

by Billiehill

every time we are in town we like to go to peter pan putting. last 3 times there were little, little kids running around not supervised, smacking the golfballs all over the place, hitting an adult in the head. tonight 7-25- 09 we went to peter pan at 8;15pm again kids running wild. I MEAN WILD!!! parent letting their kids cut in front of EVERYONE. i spoke up, asked the kids to wait their turn ,parents came over & started a fight. lucky for me & my 10 year old son there were muscular guys around to back us up :).This place needs someone out on the putting field to keep their customers safe. The guy behind the counter had NO CLUE as to what is going on out there?? As did anyone know what was going on the time before. I have reported this to the counter help before, for it is only getting Worse. Bathrooms with feces smired everywhere. Gross. will never go back again. Thank you for your time in this matter, I'm glad i have a place to report this. Mrs, Hill

No Access for Strollers or Wheelchairs

by jewlzzz

It's not a bad place for putt-putt -- decent prices for about 18-holes, and there are 2 different courses so it's not too crowded, etc. But, we were there for a family birthday party, so we invited a lot of family -- that means we had babies there, old folks in wheelchairs, etc. The old folks and their drivers ended up having to go home and taking those who didn't have rides, and the ones who did not want to fight their strollers up the stairs went home also. So, basically, it's a pretty good place for DATES. No kids, no old folks, nothing with wheels will make it past the parking lot!!! And then, there are only drinks -- NO FOOD! Eat before you go.

  • Pros: two putt putt courses
  • Cons: no food, water fountain doesn't work, no stroller/wheelchair access (federal violation!)

Barton Springs course attracts family members of all ages.

In Short
Peter Pan's 36 holes are divided into two courses, east and west. Legend has it that the east course is somewhat easier, but you'll have to judge for yourself. Every hole offers some kind of obstacle or character that families and couples must put through or around. Some holes even have multiple levels. Many of the concrete and fiberglass characters are originals, withstanding the half-century of weather and errant putters have wrought on them.
