Music blaring, everyone ignored the girl up front that obviously needs help b/c she's not a gear head but that's cool I'll take my buisiness elsewhere...
Pros: Good Location
Cons: Intimidating feel when you walk in if you don't know what your doing...

I bought my bike from Ozone 6 years ago. Always taken it to Ozone. I am not sure what happened but a few years ago, things changed. Bike techs-once friendly-would now interrupt you as you tried to explain the problems. ("So i was riding along and..." "YEAH JUST GIMME IT") We know you still have to diagnose the problem, but part of customer service is being attentive to the customer. I kept trying to give them another shot but... The last time I took it in (a month ago) I bought a brand new wheel and gears and axle ($120). 3 weeks later, I'm riding down the street and POP, 4 spokes come loose at once. Defective part, right? I take it in, and they did the classic Ozone interruption. (had to tell them 3 times that I bought a new wheel a month ago and I still don't think they heard me). I suggest the defective wheel, basically "can it be warrantee'd out?" - wanting them to replace it. I got questions like "so… you bought the wheel from us?" or "did you buy the whole bike a month ago?" …i had already explained all this and had my receipts. They recommended that I don't ride over curbs or obstacles. I reiterated that I ride ONLY on the street. Felt awkward but left. About an hour later they called and said I'd have to buy a new wheel and fix some other stuff. It was like I dropped off my bike to "fix everything that's wrong with this, spare no cost" They ignored my issue. I call trying to explain (again) and it's not anybody's fault, but that the wheel must be defective. The tech on the phone just tells me that I "musta damaged it myself" and they won't warranty it. All while ignoring the fact that I'd just spent a lot on repairs. Bottom line, the techs are rude at this place, they have no clue about customer service and no apparent intent to keep customers returning. Go someplace else that keeps better track of your records (like maybe on a computer system instead of chicken-scratched invoices that they lose in less than a month). Not recommended.

All of the staff seem to know what they are talking about and are very friendly. There is one hero - Andrew. When I gave my son a bike (purchased elseware), Andrew stayed almost 3 hours late at the shop so he could personally meet with my son (who works late) and make sure the bike was properly fitted to him. I wanted to change tire size on the bike. I was looking at $40 tires and not being too happy at the expense. Andrew came up with a $12 tire that is perfect for the bike. I'm a novice - he could have easily taken advantage of me and sold expensive tires. If you want to be treated like a real human this is the store for you.
