Ok honestly, the toys here are fantastic!! I love looking around and I went there with a friend and we looked around for hours and hours. There are just so many unique things in there. The only complaint that I have about that place is that is is WAY to cluttered and that things in there way just SO overpriced. I mean, a little penguin toy (plastic, totally 25 cents material) was literally $3.95. That is ridiculous. Everything in there is highly overpriced. The only reason why I go is that is there are just neat things to look at. Buying? Nah.

They have a lot of neat toys!! Pretty different than your regular Toys r us. Spent lots of time looking around and playing with some toys... Worth checking out!

Be fore warned you will feel like a kid again in this well stocked toy store. You almost have to go again and agian to see evreything in the store. WE spent hours looking over the differnet items. If you visit austin its a given that you should go here.
Pros: selection, favorite finds
Cons: crowded, parking

This is one of the first places I was taken to years ago when I visited Austin... it's a must... there is always so much fun stuff... I think it's more for the older "kiddies"... they have everything from cute jewlery to decorative lamps... WOW!

I went to Toy Joy for the first time, just looking around but I found that "looking around" in Toy Joy means at least two hours of your time (and it's all enjoyable). The second time I went I was shopping for a gift but this also took about two hours, I wanted everything. I spend 15 minutes making sure I have seen every purse when I finally pick I make 5-10 more trips back to make sure there isn't something better. This store is good for all ages my mother went in there amazed along with my grandmother. I have only been to Toy Joy two times but know it is the best you can find anything you want. I rate this store over all a 10!

Toy Joy is one of the BEST toy places in Austin!! Take kids there and they can look and try out things in there 4 a couple of hours! They have a wide variety- ranging from bags to stickers to candy to little spinning toys! They have wierd but REALLY cool stuff!! Everything is out of the ordinary! If you like to stand out, then Toy Joy is the place for you!
Pros: Interesting Stuff, Not Crowded, VERY COOL!!!!!
Cons: Expensive(ish), No normal stuff

This store is really cool to goto to find some cool toys! But, they need a diffrent staff. The guys are jerks and say crude things. NEW STAFF GUYS!!! But hey the toys are great!
