Great place. Great people. Great work. Very neighborhood friendly. Excellent stylist. Nice relaxing vibe. AND CONTINUITY! The same people have worked there for a long time because it is fun and a positive enviornement. Just what you need when getting worked on. I go there to have my hair washed and styled and I have straight hair. It just feels great and it never looks better then when they do it. Also affordable. Don't fear walking to the register. It will be a reasonable amount. dps
Pros: Super friendly vibe and great work.
Cons: None really. Small busy lot but never trouble parking.

Eighteen years of compliments on my cut and color by Rebecca. Not all stylists have a knack for color but Rebecca has a natural talent for selecting the best color to suit your coloring, personality, and look that you want to achieve. She takes the time to teach me the styling techniques to show-off my new hair cut and the products to give me the best results for my hair type. Curly, straight, or fine hair types are no problem for her. Everyone leaves looking their best. I'm proof that once you give Rebecca a try and you will never change stylists again.

Angela did an awesome job with my highlights and haircut. I highly recommend Starzz. Everyone was friendly, it's not a fussy snooty place and the prices were reasonable.

Not being a "salon" person, I was a bit apprehensive entering a new place. After searching here on CitySearch, I found Starzz. What a relief to finally be heard at a salon! I got Joee, who patiently listened to what I had done to my hair, and what I eventually wanted to do. he talked me out of cutting all my hair off, and gave me a great new look instead, not to mention a training session on how to style it. Hat's off to Joee and the rest of the staff - I've already made my next appointment!

Rebecca (owner) and her staff are wonderful to work with. She jumped in last minute to do my wedding hair, 7 manis, 3 pedis, three make-up jobs, and two up dos!!! after another salon bailed on me the week before my wedding, starzz was able to accomadate all of us on such short notice. she is a super stylists who did a beautiful up-do with cascading curls. her staff is friendly and responsive. i highly rec. you take your business to her.

OK, this is coming from someone who had no problem paying 290 for color and highlights at an exspensive salon. (yeah, everyone thinks I'm crazy) Rebecca at Starzz did a BETTER job on my hair than ANY salon I have ever been to! I couldn't believe i was only charged 110 for a full head of foil and a cut. My hair looks incredible and I get compliments all the time. Rebecca has over 18yrs of experience and knows what she is doin'!
