A nice place. I had a very good experience. They are very quick at getting you in and out. The place is very nice and clean. The doctor is very pleasant, and to the point. Overall if i ever had to come back, i would not hesitate to make an appointment. :)

Awesome Doctor and Great Staff. I have had RSD or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome since 1994 due to a work related incident and after getting the run around from multiple "Company" Dr's I finally made it here and from day one with this Dr I was always treated like I should have been at all the other places I was sent to. This Dr and his staff really took the time to listen to me and help me with my pain. To this day I am and will always be a patient here, ever since I have been seen here for my RSD I have been able to return to work, get off the oral meds almost entirely as well as TAKE MY LIFE BACK! If it wasn't for this wonderful clinic I would most certanly be out of work and alone still in pain taking oral meds. My interaction with the Dr's staff is also wonderful, they have some of the best people you would ever want to speak with about your problems. I now realize that I wasn't just a number or Insurance money to the great Dr, but a person and have always been able to call on them whenever I need. Thank you so much Dr Mahendru and staff for giving me my life back, I owe all that I am at the present to you. I sometimes wonder what my life would have been like if I wouldn't have gone to that first appointment, however all I have to do is look at my family, friends and my current situation and realize that your help and support was the best ever given. Once again Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart as well as from my family for all that you have given back to me.

Please shop around. My experience with this place ended up with thousands of dollars spent and still owed, be me. There was never any positive reaction to any of the treatments at all. 3 years later, I still have the same chronic pain problem compounded by a pile of debt. I now realize that they were interested in my problem because of how much money it could make them... but were they interested in me? or fixing my pain problem? Not hardly.

Theft. I came into the clinic for an appointment early. I didnt realize I would get my wallet stolen by the receptionist. I took out my wallet to pay my copayment and set it down on the table. Went into the back room to get examined. Came back out looking for the wallet and it was gone. I asked the woman where it was and she said she never saw it. There were no patients in the room because it was early. I called the police and they searched her area but found nothing. They said they thought she stole it but could not prove it. The doctor insisted he would pay me the money back but after phone call after phone call and delaying me I gave it up. I am shocked to get ripped off at a doctors office but it happened and the staff lied to me and said they would reimburse me. Be careful if you go into this clinic and watch your possessions!

Still hoping to find a doctor. Had my first appointment this morning at 10 am. I left extra early since it was raining a traffic was horrible. I made it in time though and gave the receptionist my paperwork, insurance card etc. as well as my co-pay that she asked for. Almost immediately I was taken back to a room by a very nice lady. My thoughts were "Yeah, no long waiting to get in". (I did bring my book with me today thinking I would need it in the waiting room) LOL. So she puts me in my room and tells me someone will be in. After a few minutes I see that perhaps I do need my book after all. I start to read and watch the time along the way. 50 minutes goes by and I have not seen another human being in my room. I have had 50 minutes of solitude. As a mother of a 4 yr old that is a rare pleasure to have 5 minutes let alone 50. However, I really had very high hopes of becoming pain free or at least have a little relief. The reviews I had read were good for the most part. As I walked down the hall to the front, I passed 2 people working at the nurses station and the nice receptionist told me to have a nice day. Yes, I guess as long as I was back there she would assume I actually saw the doctor or maybe even the nurse. But no, I saw NO ONE. At this point I figure if I am not RESPECTED enough to even be given the courtesy of someone letting me know the doctor is running late or he took off to play in the rain, the odds are I would not receive QUALITY care when someone managed to get to my room. Although at 4pm and not so much as a phone call to appologize or anything perhaps they think I am still in the little room waiting for my 10 am appointment that they had scheduled for me. I am still on my quest to find a caring doctor who might actually have the time and skills to help me. I really don't know if there are any like that in the corporate world where we are hearded like cattle and all that matters is the all mighty dollar. This doctor may actually be great. To bad I never got to find out. So I am off to the next one on my list and praying with everything I have that the next one will want to at least see me, and with any luck, do more then just hand me a pill and herd me out the door.

Thank You. All of the staff at Central Texas Pain are so kind and compassionate - treating you like people - not numbers. Although the circumstances are not ideal the staff make it a pleasant experience.

Recommended for pain relief. Everyone make sure you can clearly understand your pain! They do NOT treat you like a looney-bug making up that you have pain. They treat you with respect and treat you and your real pain.

Highly recommended for chronic pain relief. Dr Mahendru and staff are compassionate and attentive. CTP is highly recommended for relief of chronic pain and the search for an answer to your medical problems. Everyone is great. Anyone you speak to in the building is helpful and kind.
