Honest, inexpensive, very friendly!

I only take my shoes to Sammie's for repair. He's honest, on time with repairs, and will sometimes do small jobs while you wait. I took my boots in for repair, and the price can't be beat. My boots will live longer than I will after being repaired by him! Like the previous reviewer stated, if he can't fix it, he will tell you so, and even recommend another repair service in Austin who can! Sammie's is an Austin institution! He is located next to Music Mania in the Fiesta Shopping Center. He's worth the drive from anywhere in Austin for his services.

Fixes things other repairmen can't.

My wife has been going to Sammie for over 20 years to get a lift on the left shoe (one leg shorter). Sammie has kept the price constant over the years and has done an incredible job each time. He'll tell you up front when a shoe isn't capable of getting a lift installed and will fix any of his work, for free, that doesn't wear well.
