DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

IT WAS THE WORST TINT JOB EVER! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TINT SPECIALIST TO ANYONE! I AM AMAZED THAT THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS! THIS PLACE DOSEN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR. SAME GOES FOR THEIR SOUTH LOCATION!

Excellent and prompt service, great price

I had 2 cars, mine and one of my friends, window's tinted from Tint Specialists. They did a very good job and the price was the least I could get amongst nearly 10 shops where I inquired. I will surely use them again and recommend them to anyone who is looking for excellent service and a resonalbe price.

Price scamming at its best. Beware!!!

Price scamming at its best. I called him the day prior to my visit. He tells me that his price for a Ford Taurus wagon is $135.00. I stressed out it is a station wagon & he replied his price was low due to a special discount that is going on.

But, when I take the car he tells me that the real price is $165. And the $135 is for a Taurus coupe. And?Taurus does not make cope?LOL. Next he says that there is no difference between a coupe & a sedan. Imagine this coming from a guy who spends all his day with cars?

I will NOT deal with ?bait & switch? dealers. I took my car to B & H Customs.

I am glad I avoided Tint Specialists & would NOT recommend them to anyone!!!!

Excellent Service!

I've gotten my past two vehicles tinted at Tint Specialist and believe you me, they are the SPECIALISTS! My older truck was tinted by another tint shop here in Austin, (not saying any names) and that tint looked SO bad on the back window! Well, at Tint Specialist, one of the guys said that there was really a lot of trash in it. Well, when they redid my tint, 3yrs ago, it still looks very good. That other tint remained "trashy" from after I got it tinted for at least a year. I believe that is how long it took for me to actually just go get it redone. I highly recommend Tint Specialist! They know what they are doing! And they are very helpful!! Thanks guys! Y'all ROCK!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I HAVE HAD MY WINDOWS TINTED AT TINT SPECIALIST SEVERAL TIMES. THEY HAVE DONE SIX CARS FOR ME IN THE PAST AND JUST DID MY NEW ONE FOR ME TODAY. THEY ARE DEFINATELY THE "SPECIALIST". THEY OFFER GREAT SERVICE!! THEY HAVE THE LOWEST PRICE WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY. THANKS AGAIN HECTOR AND TINO FOR ALL YOU HELP!!

Very basic service

I didn't get my windows tinted there. I called and told the guy that I was interested in getting my windows tinted. He asked what kind of car I had and then gave me a quote, just like that. After having my last car tinted somewhere else where there were lots of choices in the type and quality of tint, I asked if he had the "high end" stuff that I know costs over $400 (I know it's what I want to have done and was price-comparing). He said that all of their stuff was "high end", not understanding or questioning what I was looking for. When I explained, he said that they didn't have it and he didn't seem to know what it was.

In sum, I'd say that they have the very basic of services and if you want choices and real pro's...I'd consider going elsewhere.

Price scamming and average quality

I called in and asked for the price on my car. They quoted me at $x price. As I'm standing in front of the guy I see his business card which has a price that is $30 lower for my car. I ask why I didn't get this price and they put up a little show as to why they can't do that. In the end instead of a $30 discount they only were willing to give a $10 discount. If the quality was good I wouldn't care about the $20 bucks... What really angered me is the fact that they put a sticker in between the tint and the driver glass to promote that they did the tinting. That's just wrong because it was without my permission!!! My car is not a bulleting board... I'll never recommend these guys again.

Great work, lifetime warranty on the tint I bought. Done in an hour. The tint has no bubbles, isn't peeling, and I'd use them again anyday. The staff is also very friendly, with competitive prices. Great shop. :-)
