My original membership was with Figure World and when those clubs closed down Premier Lady honored our contracts at the original price. There have been some additional fees for billing, new ids etc over the years but no increase in the contract price, which I find very honorable on their part. I go to the North club and have always found it to be a cllean, comfortable and friendly place to workout. The staff are very helpful and encouraging -- they are always willing to start or start over with you where you are with no judgements. As someone who has fallen off the fitness wagon from time to time, that is something I really appreciate. I primarily use the pool and the machines but I have taken classes in the past and found the instructors to be excellent.

Pros: Outstanding Value, Convenient Hours and Locations, Friendly Knowlegeable Staff

Cons: No Spa/Hot tub at North Location, No fitness Swiming Instruction or lanes (In fairness, gym clients seem to strongly favor aquarobics and I suspect there may not be a demand for fitness swimming.)

I've been a member of several gyms over the years and this one is by far the best experience I've had yet. I joined a few months ago because I was looking to get in shape and lose some baby weight. Not only have I started to see a difference, I feel great too! If you're looking for a place to workout, I highly recommend Premiere Lady Fitness & Spa.

Don't be fooled, this place is just as big of a scam as all the other gyms! I was duped by these people. They try to be your "friendly neighborhood gym" but they are exactly like the others(24 hr and Gold's). They will talk you into a contract and imply it is easy to cancel when it is not! I lost my job and can no longer pay for my membership, but do they care? NO! And to make things worse, it costs the same, but the equipment is all old and some of it is even broken. The first day I was shocked by how tiny it was. When I toured the place I thought there was more to it that was not shown, but I guess that tiny room is really all there is! Other gyms are nice and new and have several rooms for classes, but not this one! That's right, only ONE ROOM for classes, that are all at inconvenient times for people who actually work for a living, not to mention that at other gyms you can work out whenever you want to, this one has shorter hours, and even closes early on Saturday and Sunday. Great for employees, I'm sure, but to people who have actual jobs, this stinks! One last gripe, they play "The 700 Club" during the day! What?!? That's ridiculous! If I wanted religious doctrine shoved down my throat, I would go to church! Completely offensive, and due to lack of space, I was forced to either watch it or not use the machines. So buyer beware, there are better gyms out there! And if you don't want to be locked into a ridiculous contract, buy some weights and take up walking!

Cons: old, can't end contract

I spoke to someone over the phone named Senta and agreed to sign up for a three month contract that I would be able to cancel at any time. Well it turns out that she lied and signed me up for a one year contract that now I'm being told I can not cancel. I am a trusting person and did not read what I signed assuming that I was getting what I was told when in fact I was tricked into signing up for a membership that I won't use. $30/ month down the drain; thanks, Senta for being so honest! I was told that I can bring my baby to childcare so that I can go to the gym but how can I trust them to take care of my child if I can't trust them to get a simple contract right? If you decide that for some reason this is the gym for you, make sure you read everything before signing your life away. You might be getting something totally different than what you are told so make sure you get it in writing. Good Luck!

Pros: nothing comes to mind

Cons: they lie to you, do not trust anything they tell you

I was a member of this gym for about 3 years. It has a lot of good points, especially the yoga. Affordable and relaxed. Some yoga teachers I really liked quite a lot. The yoga at Premier Lady is great for someone who is looking for a more non-structured, relaxed class. This is very important if you are trying to do yoga to get back in shape, recover from an accident, or are older. Ive been to yoga classes that seemed almost militaristic in attitude which i hated, premier lady is an environment in which you can take what you need. Im kinda iffy on the rest of the gym, the machines are so-so. Although they have a good number of treadmills. They used to have a jacuzzi but it hasnt been working for about a year. The pool never seemed nice to me, too much chlorine and women who are just standing in the pool talking, not using the pool to do exercise. I know there are a number of classes that are good for younger women, I could not partake in due to injury. The level of cleanliness is so-so. Not perfect but not the worst Ive encountered either. The front desk is the worst. I hardly ever had an opportunity where I needed to ask the front desk something that was a positive experience. Nine times out of ten the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I guess that must be a prereq to working there, you must be young, have a lot of contempt for other women, and believe that your salary does not include having to answer pesky customer questions. The other blogger here was right about the contract. It is very hard to make any kind of change, like postponing your account if you are going to be away for a month or more, and ending it takes an act of Congress. So if you are prepared for those things you will probably enjoy it.

The parking is bad, the gym is in bad need of an update! The pool area needs a lot of work done on it, rust on the ceilings, and tiles missing.?! Water is dripping in the locker room ceiling, and smells! The aqua class was ok...customer service is not good! Only thing i liked about the place was...the saunas...i was hoping to join, but now i have second thoughts, since i was told by the manager that this things do not seem to be a concern for the owner, and could not tell me if?, or when they may be fixed???? it made me very sad, and dissapointed!!!

Pros: womans only gym

Cons: place needs a lot work done!!!

Even though the equipment is not be the newest out on the market this gym does offer a lot of value for the money, especially considering that this isn't one of the huge chain gyms, but a locally owned and operated business. The 2 locations in Austin are convenient, and both clubs offer a ton a classes. The fact that I do not have to pay extra for any of these classes (pool and spin classes are included along with everything else) is a HUGE PLUS. The staff is friendly and helpful - and their aerobics teachers are the greatest (Senta and Keri's classes are my favorite)! The clubs do offer tanning and child care at an extra fee, and the south location even has a salon on-site; prices for services are reasonable. Every once in a while they do offer members the option to sign up for pay-extra classes like Belly-dancing, and anyone interested can sign up. I have been a member of Gold's, Body Business, 24 Hour Fitness, and the "Y", and Premiere Lady is by far my favorite - personally I don't care if I am in an all-female or co-ed environment - because members are encouraged to be healthy and fit by the staff, and the staff is a wonderful representation of the meaning healthy and fit.

Pros: Great teachers and trainers

Cons: Need more locations

I have been a member for 7 years. This is my best gym experience yet. Working out in an all women facility has been less intimidating. I definitely feel more comfortable and am more likely to go on those days that I just don’t feel like hitting the gym. My regular Saturday morning workouts are downright relaxing. I have found the staff to be friendly and quick to offer assistance. Having two locations has been great for me since one is close to my work and the other my home. They have enough stationary equipment so that there is rarely a wait, even in peak hours. The weight equipment is easy to use and the free weights are accessible with adequate space. There are lots of classes to keep one from getting bored with your workouts. The best part for me is that I renew my contract every year for the same price that I originally signed up for. Can’t beat that!

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Short Sunday hours

This company has poor customer service. The facilities are broken for extended amounts of time. The gym is small and cramped. The machines are old and not very much to choose from. The Billing system is a nightmare. Not only did I have to find my voided check in a stack of old paperwork they had that they had never sent to the billing company. They also told me I could not cancel because they were switching Billing Companies. It took 3 visits and 8 calls to finally cancel my account. Now a year later I am receiving calls that a payment from over a year ago is not in their records and they want me to produce a payment. Their corporate office has no live person you have to talk to their answering machine. The actual locations will refer you to these answering machines rather than assisting you with any problems. On top of all the other reasons above for me leaving I'm including the fact that as far as saying they are a women's gym they Charge HUGE FEES for daycare. The normal gyms such as Gold's Gym, etc offer that free to members. The fees for Premier were twice the fees of my Gold's Gym and included free classes. Premier lady charged extra for many classes. DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THE NIGHTMARE because they will make it difficult to get out of their contract. You will not enjoy the run around that you recieve when you have a problem and the Answering machine at the corporate office will never resolve your problem. CHOOSE A BETTER GYM with a good staff, equipment and customer service. You will be very unhappy if you choose this company to work with.

Pros: none

Cons: broken equipment, answering machine customer service run around, large daycare fees

I have been going here for over 2 years and not only has the facility grown and improved but the staff there is the friendliest! They have great classes and you don't feel like you are being judged. Their Personal Trainers are very well informed and helpful. I wish their parking weren't shared with HEB and had more facilities!

Pros: Staff, No men, Many things to do

Cons: , Not enough facilities
