Gallerie Jewelers Rocks!!!

Why are there only 5 stars on Citysearch, when there should be 10 for Gallerie Jewelers? Ted and Corey were absolutely amazing to work with. Ted worked with me patiently for 7 months on designing the perfect ring for my stone. He never rushed me. I kept changing my mind, and he kept being patient with me. He was always so kind and so patient. Maybe his real name is Job? Anyway, I am eternally grateful for Gallerie Jewelers and how they treated me like family. I have never left this stone with any jeweler, but Ted showed me the unique characteristics of the stone under the microscope before I left it for him to set, then again when it was set. If you are looking for the perfect jeweler, look no further. Thank you Ted and Corey!

Worth Driving to Austin, TX

Found Gallerie Jewelers through another jeweler's recommendation for an appraisal. We were overwhelmed by the initial friendliness of Corey, Ted and their four-legged friends! We felt like we were their only customers. They helped me design a custom pendant that turned out indescribably exquisite. We live 75 miles away and it was well worth the drive!

Best jewelry store in town!

At other stores, my husband was so turned off by the experience of shopping for my engagement ring, and sales people scoffing at his budget or trying to convince him to go bigger. He also was not pleased with the selection at most places. But Ted, the owner of Gallerie, actually *undersold* him, and he had a beautiful vintage ring that couldn't be found anywhere else. And then he had a new wedding band that fit perfectly with the vintage style.

We always recommend Gallerie Jewelers to anyone who is jewelry shopping. The owners love what they do, they're incredibly good at it, and they treat customers very well.

Fantastic Customer Service

I went to Gallerie Jewelers for my engagement ring. Ted was very personable and has a nice selection of both vintage and new pieces. His enthusiasm made my experience more fun. I was also impressed by his willingness to work quickly to get the ring on my finger!

Great Service, Expertise and Excellent choices

It's nerve-racking to find the right engagement ring. Jewelers like to throw around carat size, diamond size, and blah blah blah. This means nothing to me. I wanted the right ring for me that I thought was beautiful! After reading reviews on city search, Gallerie seemed like the place to go. Everything written about them is true. But what impresses me most, after only going to a few other jewelers in town, is the expertise and passion for their art - they are artists, not salesmen. I didn't want a traditional engagement ring, and Ted's taste is impeccable! I wanted my birthstone, aquamarine, and he hand picked the most beautiful gem for me. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience there. Now I just need to go back for the gorgeous matching aquamarine earrings! Oh, and if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll get it quickly and probably at a lower price than other stores. Gallerie is very affordable compared to other places.

Great Place to Buy a Ring Without Feeling Like an Idiot

I could site their variety of great designs, their expertise, the quality of their work ? all of those things are there. But at the end of the day you can find those qualities at many jewelry stores. What set Gallerie apart to me was their service and honesty. Visit a few jewelry stores, and you?re likely to walk away feeling like the only people who could really love their fiances are those who can afford a flawless diamond the size of a golf ball - Ted and Corey sold me a ring without making me feel like a kid who?d just had his lunch money stolen. To me the most important thing was finding a beautiful ring that I could feel great about buying without feeling like I?d been taken advantage of. Oh, and they?re doing a great job humoring my fiance who is in there about twice a day having the thing cleaned.

Unique selection, Great customer service

After visiting all of the big jewelry stores for an engagement ring (Jared's, Kay, Americus, etc.), I was very disappointed - all the rings looked the same. My husband suggested that I take a look at Gallerie Jewelers, and sure enough, it was like a breath of fresh air. They have a very unique selection and I instantly fell in love with their engagement rings. They have a lot of the antique style rings which is what I was looking for. They had so many great styles that I had a hard time choosing one! Ted did a GREAT job with my ring - it is absolutely beautiful and it was very reasonable. I always thought boutique type shops would be much more expensive than the chain stores but that is not the case. Plus, you get much more personal attention since it's a smaller shop. Gallerie Jewelers has a lifetime customer in me!

A Jewelery Shop that Captures Austin's Charm

When I first arrived at Gallerie Jewelers I was on a mission to find the perfect engagement ring. It was one that my (now) fiance found at a new designer's website, showed me long before the proposal and I took a mental note of. Unfortunately, when it came to my actual shopping, my hopes faltered when I found out that my state didn't have a single discernable retailer for the up and coming designer and I preferred not to order online for a few reasons. I checked out some other larger retailers looking for similar rings but nothing came close, and quite frankly I found the experience slightly cold and offputting... a bunch of suits standing around with nothing to do ready to pounce on the next person who walks in kind of thing. At Gallerie, I was greeted by Corey and later met her husbund Ted and their two beautiful and sweet four-legged friends, Elke and Brina. The experience was instantly different and better than the larger retailers. Corey and I introduced ourselves and I discussed the reason for my visit mentioning the designer, and then we pulled it up on her computer to give her an idea of what I was after. At some point I also looked around the gallery and found some very pretty and unique pieces, much different than the rows and rows of your typical styles elsewhere. I would have been happy with a few different rings from the cases. Corey, however, decided to give the designer a buzz (something the other retailers wouldn't do). After suggesting to the person on the phone the prospect of establishing a relationship with the designer and Gallerie and describing my situation, to her surprise they said they would let her special order the band for me! This was on a Friday and by Wednesday of the next week Ted had the diamond Corey and I talked over (she and Ted are a wealth of information) and ordered for me set in the ring. It was absolutely perfect. Gallerie is owned by a remarkable (and funny!) family and they deserve your business!
