I was directed to a specific stereo for my needs by the Circuit City - Brodie "store director". I agreed to purchase it and spent quite some time at the store while this individual placed my order. Apparently, it had JUST been sold from the Brodie store, then he found it in San Antonio - but came back and said it wasn't really there. Finally, he asked me to give him a few minutes while he "actually got his hands on one". He came back and told me he had located the system in New Braunfels and store drivers would pick it up for me the next day. I was told that it would be in the store around 4 p.m. I called the store at 1:30 p.m. to check the status and was told the store director would call me back. I heard nothing so called again at 3 p.m. I was place on hold and then disconnected. I called again, and after being on hold for a total of 11 minutes, I was told that there really wasn't a system in New Braunsfels but that they were trying to find one in Laredo. My time is limited and valuable. I would have spent Sunday searching for a stereo if I had known Circuit City was tentative on their ability to find what I had requested.
