Great local hardware store.

In the past I always shopped at Lowe's or Home Depot, but I recently moved a bit more South and was looking for an alternative. I found Ace on Manchaca and Slaughter and I am glad I did. They pretty much have everything the other guys have except 1,000 refrigerators and lawn tractors. The people who work their are always very friendly and happy to help you out with any questions. This Ace store is also locally owned which is always a good thing. Shop here. You'll be glad you did.

• Pros: Very fast and very friendly service with most everything you need.
• Cons: Shop elsewhere for appliances.
