Overpriced Overpriced Overpriced

Sure, I like this bar. It's unique like the other reviews say, but their prices are simply out of line with the rest of Austin. It's just not that awesome to charge what they do.
- Pros: Different
- Cons: Costs
New Face ~ Great Place
by austinparty1
They have recently done a lot of much needed updates to make this friendly neighborhood bar a north Austin destination. Great drink prices, friendly staff and fun customers.
- Pros: parking, unique among all other bars, friendly place
- Cons: can't think of a thing

Tavern-style bar offers a relaxed atmosphere for a gay-and-lesbian crowd. Extras include sand volleyball courts, darts, video games and TVs.

this bar has a wonderful environment you dont get from other austin clubs because it is a much more relaxed, laid back, loving atmosphere. With GREAT bar tenders, good, strong drinks and great d.j.s !!

"Cheers" type atmosphere
by nillywilly
This bar may not be everybody's cup of tea, but it has outlived a LOT of those downtown bars. Some of the regulars think of it as "Cheers." Bout Time is a great place to go to TALK, meet people, sit out the North Austin rush hour, and play pool, darts, or volleyball. It's one of the few bars in town that welcomes people of all ages, gender, and persuasions. Parking in the much-criticized parking lot is FREE (unlike downtown). Most of the people and bartenders are friendly (watch out for Rude Sunday). It's rarely overcrowded, but the "dead" periods are often shorter than those at other bars.
- Pros: friendly, free parking, "Cheers" atmosphere
