Austin's Gem. Yes, everytime I go there, I'm truely amazed at the selections of items. I do live outside of Austin, but I do make an point to go to this store at least twice a yr. The owner is a very entertaining and optimistic person.., and we always have a good laugh.

Small Treasure. This is a jam packed little mom and pop store with a huge selection of Asian food, drink, mementos, clothes, etc. The selection of real Asian ramen noodles is amazing. The guy that owns the place is great too-- in the 10 minutes I was there last, we talked about the neighborhood, his son, UT, recipes for food, and a lot of other things I have forgotten by now. This store is part of a dying breed.…
