Three really big standout qualities: 1. the service - humble, genuinely friendly, always attentive 2. you get this great nostalgic feeling, but not an overplayed nostalgic feel / kind of hard to explain - just go and experience it for yourself 3. the ice box pies are sooooo perfect - I truly wonder if Grandma could do it any better. I had the chocolate cream pie. The white fluff on top (is it meringue?) was perfect and tasted of vanilla. The choclate was rich. As far as the rest of the menu - I can only attest for the burgers - they are solid.
Pros: local history/nostalg, service, ice box pies
