When I walked into Sun Harvest for the first time, I felt like I had dropped back into a local '70s grocery store. There's definately a personal feel to the store and the employees. They were very helpful and honest with me. An entire wall of organic/social concious coffee is exciting also. I'm a big salsa guy, and I was pretty impressed with their Salsa selections too. As far as some of the basics, however, their selection isn't anywhere near your local H-E-B. But honestly, who cares how many types of Ritz crackers, or EZ Cheese Sun Harvest doesn't have?

Pros: Tons of organic products, great coffee selection

If you want the feel of an old-time Grocery Store in the middle of a large city - you will love Sun Harvest. You will receive actual customer service! We travel from Pflugerville just for the fresh cuts of meat, poultry, and fish (they run great sales each week, and the difference in taste is unmistakeable!) My kids (and husband) love the bulk bins. Parking is great and be sure to shop on Wednesday when it is double ad day!

Pros: Value, Freshness, Customer Service

Cons: Location from PF

I love Sun Harvest! I especialy love the one off S Lamar. I find the prices much better than Whole Foods and Central Market. There is variety, excellent quality, and not to mention the best customer service I have encountered in Austin.

Pros: 2 locations, inexpensive, they treasure you

Cons: only in texas
