RUDYS is my favorite place to eat BBQ. It claims to the the worst but it is by far the BEST! With its original atmosphere lets customers relax and enjoy the meal. The brisket is so moist and delicious, but the cream corn is the most delectable side. Not to mention Rudy's famous BBQ sauce, its spicy but just right on its sauage and ribs!

Simply the best!

Yes there are many good bbq places in Austin but Rudy's is a step above the rest. It has the laid back TX atmosphere and the food is exceptional. The best beef brisket (3 different cuts), tremendously succulent turkey, choice chicken, and every side under the sun.

Simply the best BBQ!

In a city with many good BBQ restaurants, Rudy's is our family's all time favorite. All the meats are excellent, and the sides and desserts are delicious, but we usually overdose on the brisket. We have used Rudy's to cater several events at our church, with up to 400+ present. The food and service by Rudy's friendly staff have created many satisfied customers. When we have out of town guests who want to sample Texas BBQ, we head to Rudy's. Actually, we don't need an excuse. Rudy's great BBQ is reason enough for us!

The best Bar-B-Que around!

This place is the best by far. I've been to many barbeque places in Austin and none compare to the lean beef at Rudy's. Their sauce is spicy, their side items (namely cream corn) are FABULOUS. The meat is cooked to perfection. Go there!

Great food

My girlfriend (JLR) and I have been to several Bar-B-Q restaurants around town that our friends have raved about and always come back to Rudys. The atmosphere and food is great. Bar-B-Q is not supposed to be served in a fancy restaurant, it is down home cooking. Rudy's is down home eating at it's finest. We loved it!!!

Once you get past the gas station in the front, you'll love the atmosphere and food. They're free samples to first time customer's is a wonderful concept! And you HAVE to have their banana pudding!

Extra/clean fresh food

Extra clean facility. Fresh food. Best variety of drinks. Unique serving method of placing food on butcher paper and in coke crate. A must visit place for out of town visitors. Best brisket and sausage barbeque. Wife says she wanted pinto beans not kidney beans. But I like both. I think solid plates would be nice for the finicky though. I don't like to think all that separates me from the table is a piece of paper!
