I had them do a detail about 6 months ago and they actually did a good job. I went back for an inspection, oil change, and wash and they did ok on the first 2 but the wash was average. Today I had a horrible wash (Ben's Special -$23) and they did not properly vacuum, clean the outside and did not thoroughly clean my wheels (3/4 clean). I went to point this out and the guy that takes your order told me my car was real dirty and they are not a "hand wash" place. I did not have time to talk to a manager to work it out. I am done with them after 2 below average and one horrible experience. It seems I am not the only one.
Pros: Decent waiting area. Full service (oil change & inspection)
Cons: Poor car washes and bad customer service.

I went here for my state inspection this week. First of all, they have one person doing inspections so the wait is way too long. They told me my gas cap needed replacing (which is not true since I didn't have a check engine light) and I should come back once that had been done. Instead of wasting my time going to my dealership and having them prove there was nothing wrong, i bought a cheap gas cap at the auto parts place. When I came back, I was told I would have to wait another hour for a check that takes less than two minutes. I talked to the manager on duty and he was rude and didn't seem interested at all in keeping me as a customer. I will be going to Genie or First Hand for all of my car washes from now on.
Pros: Decent car washes, but nothing better than any others.
Cons: Rude employees. Poor customer service.

The ad on T.V. touts the full service car wash as the thing that you get free. It specifically mentions the Armour All treatment for your tires. However, when you get there, you find out that the actual full service is an additional $10 and it is only the basic service car wash that comes with the oil change. As far as the oil change, advise them up front that you definitely want them to let you know if anything else needs repair/replacing but let them know that you will NOT be paying for anything extra that day. Just get the oil change and nothing else. In fact, I believe they will let you watch the serviceman check your vehicle so I'd recommend letting them know you want to be notified when your car is going into the bay so you can watch. There are good oil change places and there are unscrupulous ones who use it as an opportunity to get more money from you by selling you parts and service that you sometimes don't even need. The frustrating thing (for both the customer AND the "good guys") is that one can not tell them apart until it's too late.
Pros: The inside waiting area is decent and rocking chairs outside are fun.
Cons: Overpriced, poor job, and try to sell you more stuff.

Hello, I wanted to take some time to respond and inform the city search viewing public of some of our business standards and code of conduct. Here at the Arbor we have a very Austin business style atmosphere where customer service comes FIRST, and to provide a warm comfortable atmosphere for all ages. Like most retail businesses of this capacity you now and again will have situations arise that could have very well been avoided, but due to the nature of this business sometimes things just happen. We pride ourselves on promoting Integrity within our business, and by being a pillar in our community. Our business thrives on having satisfied customers who want to go out and brag about how their car looked, how they saved time and money vs. using our competitors, or even how they initially had a problem, but in the end they were satisfied because they were taken care of at the best of our abilities right there on the spot. We know that we will not be able to make everyone happy or that some customer’s expectations of what they thought they purchased sometimes may have not been what they needed to meet their wants, but we try diligently to satisfy all of our customer as best we can.We have meetings with the staff every chance we get to make sure all aspect of our business is addressed to them...good and bad. Our team members here have a combined knowledge base of 60 to 80 years experience. We as managers strive to make sure that our employees that come in contact with our customers are of a very good moral character, and they ALL know that if it was not for our customer we would not have a job and our business would not have been around for 12 years. To the people who only write all of their bad experiences about businesses I would ask you to make sure you took the time to address your issues with the manager before condemning them on sites like City Search where we have no opportunity to try to contact the customer in order to try to make things right.
Pros: Family Owned and Opperated for 12 years... Pillar in the community... Honesty & Integrity
Cons: Some people aren't aware the Lube Center is open when it rains.

Nice place, good marks for customer service, environment and a fast, decent wash and oil change. I'll go back again. However, I'm not recommending the Arbor Car Wash BECAUSE THEY COMMIT THE MORTAL SIN OF BAD AUTOMOTIVE SHOPS: TRY TO SELL YOU REPAIRS YOU DON'T NEED. With a strong background in auto repair and having called out the "technician" who recommended a belt replacement he didn't even look at, I stayed there an extra half hour just to survey those with vehicles coming out of the Lube Center. The same technician recommended the same "repair" to 13/15 customers. Worst yet, the same guy did the same thing every Saturday morning I went there. When you go to Jiffy Lube, you expect them to sell you add-ons. From Arbor, I expected more, and saw many people get ripped off by the same garbage that plagues the industry. Go elsewhere.
Pros: nice location
Cons: Try to scam women and old people for unnecessary repairs

They usually leave my car with dirt spots but they clean it better once I tell them, but today the owner (or manager) came out of the office just to tell me that I was too demanding and that I should be looking to take my car somewhere else because they are not willing to spend time cleaning my car. I thought that their service was to clean cars but I guess that I was wrong. It seems to be that their business is to charge for it only not to clean them, and then make sure that you leave quickly so they can charge the next "victim" hoping that they won't see the dirt still remaining on the lower body of the car. In any case, I would not recommend anyone to go to this place as they usually don't have time for you neither care about you or your car, they just care about your money, and quickly please!!!
Pros: I couldn't find one
Cons: Rudeness, Quality of Service, Customer Service

First of all, when you first drive up you'll have to wait at least 5 minutes in your car before someone will come over and talk to you...you begin to wonder if they even see you. One lady even drove away because she was sick of waiting. Then you'll continue to wait in your car until they can steer you up to the vacuum cleaners. The woman who was inside taking my money was unfriendly and distracted and talking to the other person very loudly she was working with. There was also a dog caged behind the counter. I paid, walked around for a few mins, then went to the facilities and went outside to wait. I waited and waited and waited and never saw my car come around. It was just a basic car wash and I didn't want to be impatient so an HOUR later I decided I'd waited long enough...where was my car?? Apparently they had finished it within the 7 minutes I was inside and decided to go ahead and move my car out of the way. My car was in a parking lot next door to the car wash, hiding behind a building and I had no idea for a whole hour. The man didn't apologize when I told him what happened. What a waste of time during my lunch break, I will never go back and I wasn't impressed with the wash. Water stains on the paint and on the rims but since it had been an HOUR already, I had to go back to work.
Pros: location
Cons: no customer service

$22 for a car wash, after which: the windshield is not clean, inside or out; the rocker panels aren't clean; the insides of the door frames haven't been touched, much less cleaned; there has been a rag inside the car, but in some places it just moved the dirt around, other places have obviously not been touched; nobody bothered to vacuum, sweep or wash the acorn hulls and twigs out of the pickup bed. Friday afternoon may be a bad time to get a car wash, but, hey--if the charge for it, they ought to do it. There seems to be a pattern in all the car wash reviews--the BMWs and Lexuses get good washes, the Fords and Nissans get the short end of the stick. Again, I vote with my feet.
Pros: Good rocking chair
Cons: A poor job

I have used them alot over the past few years as they are close to where I live! I always have the same issue each time. The interior is never clean and there is still dust on the dash and around the radio area. I always ask them to wipe down the interior before I drive away. It is annoying. Also, I took my car there last week and when I got home my IPOD was gone from the closed compartment between the seats. My fault for leaving something of value in my car. BIG lesson learned!! If you go there, don't leave anything of value in your car! They have now lost a loyal customer!! I'm really disappointed!!!!

I have been going to Arbor Car Wash to get my car washed and detailed for about a year now and I couldn't be happier with the results every single time. The folks at Arbor take their time with such great care & detail. I never knew getting your car washed could be such a great experience. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else and I'd recommend them to anyone.
