Not recoomend for Oil change service
by yaya67 at Citysearch
I do not recommend this place for oil change. I went there because it's close to my work place and my car really need to have the oil change. They tried to sell me a $59 new cabin air filter by showing me a super dirty cabin air filter which truly do not believe that's my... I will never go back to this place.

Best Service in Town
by Tidbit at Citysearch
I have been a repeat customer of the Arbor for a couple of years. I am always very pleased with their staff and the atmosphere they have created. I feel that I can kick my heels off for a few minutes while I am there and relax. I admitted that I can be a picky person but every single time I want a specific spot cleaned or maybe some extra attention to a certain area they have always taken care of my vehicle without complaining.
I also have used their oil change facility a few times and I can say based off of all of the other places I have been in the past this place is by far The Best!! Yes... someone will eventually come up to you and cover the recommended services for your vehicle, but I have had them come to me and say that my vehicle is in perfect running condition and all my maintenancs seems to be up to date.
They have earned my trust!! Keep up the Good work!!
- Pros: One stop shop; Atmosphere is comfortable; No Pressure
- Cons: Coke machine was down this day and Lucy was off
Hidden Surprise on Jollyville
by Bennet Consulting at Citysearch
After moving from Detroit a month ago I have been hesitant to find a new place to handle the maintenance of my Mercedes after using the same service center for years up North. Problem is now solved with an added bonus of a one stop shop. Oil change, car wash, and popcorn? Sold! And I hate popcorn but inhaled a bag anyway. You Texans have made my transition a little easier. Have the popcorn ready because I'll be back.
- Pros: One stop time saver
- Cons: Need more chairs
Really i get a wash too

I was going to go to find a new place to get my oil changed and decided to google. I found this place and wow am i impressed.. I have never got a oil change and a car wash at the same place.. Great concept. The shop was clean and all the people there were really nice and freindly. I will be back again and again.
- Pros: Oil change and i get a wash..not just a vacuum
- Cons: not enough locations
Good wash. Bad Used Car Salesman like greeters.
by PLATINUM at Citysearch
The first time I went there, it was a pleasant experience. The guy over the phone was nice and he even took in my car right at close.
On my second visit a few weeks later, I pulled up to get my car washed on Friday, May 15th around 4pm. I usually don't get the extras (wheel shining, wax, etc.) because I know all the extras are not worth the money and usually something like armor all on my low-profile tires usually spin off while I drive anyways. I usually clean my wheels the way I want at home. Plus, I don't drive the car much and there's only brake dust on my wheels.
Anyways, when I pulled up, I told them that I want the basic full service for $12.95. The greeter (Caucasian, with slick back hair, wearing aviator sunglasses) said in a fast-talking used car salesman way "You don't want your wheel shined or dash armor alled or anything?" I said "no".
He said, "Huh, I never seen a BMW washed with dirty wheels." I said, "Do you want me to take my car somewhere else? There are plenty of places on the same street that I can take it to."
Anyways, I ended up washing it there. People like this are not the best first impression for Arbor Car Wash. I hope they realize that.
- Pros: Good wash, rocking chairs & efficient
- Cons: Slicksters as greeters
Friendly, Austin Family Owned
by CSMobileUser at Citysearch
We've been using Arbor car wash for our car washes and oil changes for over 4 years. I have found them to be friendly and honest. They recommend service from the dealer's guide only and offer decent prices. Most importantly, they have a very friendly house dog that rans around...very Austiny.
Simply shocked....!!

I am truly shocked that Arbor Car Wash is listed here as #1. Here are some points of my experience this past Sat.:
- they didn't vacuum the back seat floorboards. When I pointed that out, they were annoyed and then did it quite poorly.
- the finisher didn't even wipe my dashboard at all. Same dust is there as when I went in.
- my windshield is filthy; inside and out. I had to redo them myself when I got home.
- when he pulled the car up, after the shoddy re-vacuum job, he put the window down and up, and didn't reclean it. You can imagine the water spots and streaking that caused.
- the door jams were not cleaned or wiped
This was such a disappointing experience. I bought the "Valentine's Day 2 for 1 Special" so I get the next deluxe service free. What a waste, since I will not be going back here again.
- Pros: Location, rocking chairs
- Cons: Poor service, dirty windows & interior not cleaned.
1ST TIME AND LEFT WITH DAMAGE - COMPANY MOTO NOT MY PROBLEM
by innocentbistandard at Citysearch
I went in their to get a detail on my car and left with damaged seats. The company took blame for the mistake but then when it came down to the bill were not willing to pay the full amount. I had to repeatedly contact the company to get the ball rolling to get my seats fixed , when they would always inform me they would contact me back and never did. Because the company is was not willing to pay for full damage I am ending up having to take it to the next level. I would not recommend taking your vehicle cause i would hate for anyone else to be in this type of situation. i am now having to pay $600 out of pocket for something that was not my fault at all!
Typical BS, no different than any other
by TheScooch at Citysearch
I've tried a few of the car washes around town, some with oil change some without. It comes down to this:
If you want your car cleaned as thoroughly as you can imagine when the commercial is "selling" you, get out the hose or go to a self serve and do it yourself. Arbor is no different than any other. They move your car through the washing machine and dry it as quickly as possible. If it's still dirty in areas, the manager will just make excuses and tell you that your expectations are unreasonable.
The purpose of the oil change is to sell high profit margin parts to you. An air filter at AutoZone averages $10-$15 depending on your car. $40-$50 is what you'll pay at a service and they are trained to sell this to you, among other things. Again, Arbor is no different. Don't sit around in the comfortable waiting area. Go stand in front of your car and watch them perform the service. They will not be able to show you a dirty air filter from the trash when you are standing there witnessing them not even opening your air filter container in the engine compartment. Yes, I watched them do this with someone else's car.
Good luck!
