Along the lake are marina facilities, numerous public parks, boat-ramp access points and 270 miles of shoreline for family fun. Popular activities include boating, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and fishing.

Lake Travis is a wonderful place..................

BUT alot of people sure do come up missing there. Alot of "accidents". Just be Careful. Try steering clear of Sandy Creek.

A Day at the Lake is a Good Day

Amazing that the lake is only 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It's a whole different world. From the clothing-optional relexation of Hippie Hollow to the over-hyped and over-crowded Carlos 'N Charlies, the Lake has something for everyone.

• Pros: fishing, boating, swimming
• Cons: crowds at some parks
