great pizza, great location

by khrushchev at Citysearch

I live VERY VERY close to the location so delivery for me is around 20 minutes. SUPER FAST delivery, a consistently good product through my experience, may just be this location, but I've been a satisfied customer since I was 12 and hope to continue for a long while. At first I didn't like the crust (it was too thin/crispy), but it's grown on me. A lot.

You should go try

by howdy_dooie at Citysearch

First of all, Austin's Pizza is freakin sweet because the pizza tastes great. Every location makes its pizza with d^&* good ingredients and pretty consistently. The dining experience is great too. I love the environment and the people who work at each location. The Varsity is my favorite "bar-type" scene though even though parking is bad on the drag. It's a great place to go drink some with your friends. Basically, everyone is fun and friendly. If I had an out-of-town friend who was to come to Austin and wanted pizza, I would recommend he or she go to Austin's Pizza first.

  • Pros: The Pizza, Staff, and Prices
  • Cons: Delivery rarely but no one's perfect

Austin chronicle named this place best pizza in austin? Are you kidding me?

by ohyeahlach at Citysearch

Ok, read the reviews and saw that the austin chronicle named this place best pizza. I was shocked. The pizza was equal to chuckee cheese. in other words, it sucked. Not enough cheese, too doughy, pizza rolls were dry. The tables were all dirty at 11:30 am... just overall a bad experience. Try Rudino's instead!

  • Pros: Cheap prices
  • Cons: Too doughy, not enough cheese, dirty location GO WITH RUDINO'S INSTEAD!

This chain offers an independent vibe plus handmade pizza with fresh toppings.

by Contributor at Citysearch

In Short
No frills: order at the counter and in a matter of minutes your pizza is served. Order at least four toppings and receive a free two-liter soda or Dasani water. Many locations offer limited inside seating, and some feature outside benches; the South Lamar venue has it all. Soft, flaky crust is the base for a dozen specialty combinations and design-your-own pies. Customer favorite Mediterranean features fresh Roma tomatoes, black olives, spinach and artichoke hearts.

Best Pizza IN TOWN! with awsome customer service

by tonyspice at Citysearch

They have so many speciality pizzas to choice from, my favorite being the mopac with pepperoni, canadian bacon, tomatoes, onion, greenbell peppers, sauage, mushrooms , green & black olives. You can arrange for carry out, delivery, or even dine in at the restuarant! Cannot say enough good things about this chain! + They now have pizza Rolls!! Woohoo.

  • Pros: Carry out pizza in less than 15-20 minutes! Great customer service.

Good delivery - especially in Austin

by bethc817 at Citysearch

I really enjoy Austin's Pizza and have never had an issue with cheese quality. I have been searching for a good delivery option in town besides the national chains. Their pizza is a great option if you want delivery, creative toppings, and a nice hand tossed crust. Try one of the pizza's with feta, it's a nice change! After just one order it became our family's delivery of choice.

  • Pros: Convenient, Inexpensive

Definitely not my favorite pizza

by austincitygirl at Citysearch

The pizza is cheap and with several locations it's easy to find, but the pizza itself is not very good for one reason: the cheese is like glue! It's definitely not a quality cheese and tastes more like some kind of cheese product than actual mozzarella cheese. I love local spots, but several other local places in town have better pizza than Austin's Pizza.

Very consistent

by jillebean at Citysearch

This has been our pizza delivery choice for about 2 years now, because it is so much more consistent than any other in the area. Must try their specialty pizzas, especially the Don (canadian bacon, pepperoncini peppers, salami, kalamata olives, tomatoes, and onions). If you're feeding a larger crowd, they also offer a 2 for deal that's competitively priced.

  • Pros: Consistency, Fast delivery, Good food
