Don't go here! New to Austin and wanted to check out the Barton Springs food chain. Wan Fu Too had a hip decor, but a total dip waiter. This dude tried to pass white rice with soy sauce on it for Fried Rice. The food sucked, but the dildoid waitstaff was even worse.
Pros: I survived
Cons: Service bites, but don't bite the food if you value your life!

This place is really dirty (don't take the below review - take mine as well). Sticky tables, strange food, duck tape on the tile floor and ceiling. Seriously, it's like walking into a horror Quentin Tarantino movie, you keep waiting for the vampire to escape out of the kitchen. Guy served our "waters" while on the cell phone (he wasn't happy being distrubed). ANYONE KNOW OF A HEALTH INSPECTOR?!!!

So...my boyfriend and I were trying to find a place to eat at about 11:30 and we decided to try something new. On citysearch Wanfu too was 5 stars so it was the obvious choice (plus my boyfriend loves chinese food). When we got there ALL of the tables where horribly dirty and there were only around 7 diners. A guy in plain clothes told us a rush had just come through-ok. It took awhile for them to clean off 1 table and then a guy took our drink orders, after that he said he was leaving and another guy was taking our order. I ordered potstickers and thai fried rice without the shrimp (I'm allergic), and my boyfriend got ribs and sesame chicken. The ribs and potstickers were alright, then our main dishes came and they were HORRIBLE! The thai fried rice had 2 pieces of shrimp and didn't taste good, the sesame chicken was just fried chicken DROWNED in a BAD sauce. I've honestly never had something so inedible in my life. The waiter never came by to ask if we needed anything, to ask how our food was, or to refill our waters, so we paid and left. NEVER GOING BACK.
Pros: open all night
Cons: I wouldn't go there ANY time of day

The atmosphere was different. I was thrown off guard at the décor of neon lights and the 50 to early 60s décor. After the wee shock, I fell in love with it. I was not sure which I liked better the surroundings or the food. Definitely the food is fantastic. It is simple American Chinese cuisine with great value. I had the Chicken delight and was it ever so tasty. And they did not skimp on chicken or veggies. I have recommended this place to all my friends both here and out of town. If you go once, you will come back.
Pros: Fantastic food and atmoshpere
Cons: there were no drawbacks

Austin is lacking in good Chinese restaurants in comparison to other cities; however, Wanfu Too surprised me. Although it wasnt the best Chinese food I've ever had...it was the best I've had in Austin. If you dont feel like driving to Houston or Dallas for good Chinese food, I would suggest eating here. The Orange Chicken was really good, and they give a larger than usual portion of food. The Combination Fried Rice was also more than satisfactory. I had the food delivered, which was a convenience, but it took an hour for the food to arrive.
Pros: Orange Chicken, Combo Fried Rice, price
Cons: Egg Roll, Delivery Service slow

fantastic food and delivery service, the food usually arrives quicker than the quoted time and is always hot and fresh. if you're ordering a large meal, ask to have it put in a paper bag to prevent leaking. din ho has better sesame chicken, but wanfu too's general tsao's is a standout. recommended!
Pros: fast delivery

If you are in their delivery zone, count yourself among the fortunate. Great home delivery service, solid, fresh ingredients in ATX delivered to your door can be hard to come by. Delivery time is usually faster than time they state (45 min.) when you call in, especially if you are a repeat customer. TIP your delivery person well (gas really costs) and enjoy the convenience of delivery to your home. An especially good meal to share with a friend arriving in town in time for dinner, the chance to relax, visit and dine, at ease in your home.

That this place is rated the top Chinese eatery in Austin can only mean that there's not much in the way of Chinese food in Austin. Wanfu Too is good, but certainly not exceptional. Last time I was there was for takeout. It took them 30 minutes to get us our food--and we'd phoned in the order in advance! Rather than apologizing, they mostly ignored us. Occasionally they'd shoot us an annoyed look, like "you're still here?!" The food is OK, but prepare yourself for chicken meat that's more like McNuggets than chicken breasts. Prices are OK. It's open late.
Pros: convenience
Cons: Service

I have truly become a regular at THIS WanFu. The hot and sour soup is some of the best I have ever had. Also, the portions are so large that they can be split among 2 people. The waitstaff is always great. Their crab rangoons are great and the entrees are wonderful.
Pros: vegetarian options, waitstaff, cheap

there are a lot of chinese restaurants in austin that try to be what wanfu too is. their great food is hard to find at such a good price. although the inside looks kind of hokey with the glittery booths, the service is spectacular and i always look forward to going there.
Pros: inexpensive, great service, delicious food
Cons: mediocre atmosphere
