Cheers of Lakeway

This is truly the "Cheers" of Lakeway. Most of the clientele are locals and it shows in the greetings from the owners, from the servers and from the cooks. The food is always consistently good and the service rarely falters. The view from the veranda is like looking at the Italian countryside. They have an extensive wine list and the prices are very fair. The bar crowd is lively and can get a little loud, especially on Fri. nights. But it's all in fun and obvious that everyone knows everyone else. Without a doubt, the best deal in town at the bar, the drinks are amazing! We will defiantly be regulars.

Delicious

Delicious Food!! Great atmosphere and love the deck.... especially this time of year! Try the UT Tini and the Pollo Caprino!! Grilled chicken with goat cheese and a butter sauce. It's real good! By far the best Italian food in the area, hands down!

I think the veranda is the perfect place to kick back with a UT Tini after work!! The weather has been incredible and thankfully our veranda is in the area for you to come and relax and soak it ll in on! I love adding sun dried tomatoes to the Caprino!! How Can You Not??

Rocco's is great!! Such a fun place to go on Thursday nights!! They have an awesome Happy Hour and the bartenders are the best in Austin! My favorite is the bella bacci jalapeno shrimp bacon wraps. They are to die for. I really like the Spicy blue cheese salad with pecans and Salmon. I haven't tried too much on the menu cause once I find something I like I tend to order it over and over, but you can't go wrong with the Lasagna. It is by far the best I have ever tasted! Love Rocco's

I absolutely love Rocco's. Great atmosphere, the food is always delicious and they have a really friendly staff. My husband and I love getting the shrimp scampi appetizer and the spicy pecan salad!! It's soooo good. It is definitely our favorite restaurant in the area!! It's a must try.

Consistently Dissapointing

I live in Lakeway, and believe me, there are few good restaurants to chose from so I have gone back to Rocco's a few times hoping to find something I like, simply to have another option. Their food is very mediocre. I have tried pasta (with overcooked veges), steak with some sort of brown gravy (same overcooked veges on the side), among other things. I don't know how the ratings for this establishment are so high. There are WAY better italian options in Lakeway.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience at Rocco's. We truly strive to make our restaurant a leader among those in the area and do put our heart and soul into our restaurant. Hearing your comments above is not something I will take lightly, and I will be sure to check for any over cooked veggies since you experienced over cooked veggies twice. Unfortunately we do not serve any brown gravy at Rocco's. We do have a mushroom marsala sauce that comes on our Pepper Steak Marsala, which was also just awarded best Steak in Austin by CitySearch, but other than that I am not sure what gravy you are referring to. We are very proud of the fact that we were just awarded Best Restaurant in Austin by CitySearch and hope that you do give Rocco's another chance. Best Atmosphere, Best Service, Best Food

As many times as I have been to Rocco's, I am always thrilled to go back! The restaurant is five star in every area, from service to food to atmosphere. The staff are incredibly thorough and attentive while the food and atmosphere compliment each other perfectly. I would recommend anyone to take a quick trip to Lakeway to give Rocco's a try...bon appetit!!!

Rocco's must be Italian for spectacular!

After checking out the other italian places in Lakeway (and there are plenty), none of the others had such a fun and inviting atmosphere as Roccos. The staff was attentive, personable and enjoyable. The food was plentiful and delicious. You have to sit out on the patio and enjoy the view of the golf course or even try sitting in the wine room for a more private romantic experience. Put Rocco's Grill on the top of your list of restaurants to check out!!!

• Pros: Amazing food, great wine, fun bar, outstanding patio
• Cons: they had to close which means I had to leave!

Rocco's is an Oldie but Goodie

I love Rocco's will all my heart! It is a great family owned restaurant that has been in the area for almost 10 years now. There is a lot of new restaurants to choose from in Lakeway, but there is no other place as special and delicious as Rocco's! The Tomato Basil Soup is outstanding, The Spicy Pecan Salad with Blue cheese is ridiculously good and I absolutely LOVE the pepper steak marsala! I also like to finish off each meal with the Miles of Chocolate!! It is to die for!! Ask for Amanda to wait on you when you go in... she's exceptional! I give it 5 stars because it deserves 5 stars!

Great Food Great Atmosphere!

I have been going to Rocco's since it opened and have literally had hundreds of meals there. I love the bright colors, the fun, whimsical murals, the warmth of the owners, Rockey, Linda, Ani and Ally. I have probably ordered everything on their menu and have never had a bad meal NEVER. They also support the community by periodically having fund raisers there..just last night they had a fashion show that was fabulous and the place was packed. We are so fortunate to have such great place in our community. The family is almost always there and they are always so gracious. It gives you the warm feeling of the "mom and pop" run Italian bistro with the red and white checkered table cloth...only this place has elegance and style. Very special.

AWESOME

I went to Rocco's last week for the first time and I fell in love! The bartenders and wait staff are great and made me and my friend feel very welcome! The pizza's are great and I love the house salad with shrimp!! The drinks are strong and I have to say I will be back very soon!!
