A new family favorite!

We just moved to the neighborhood and discovered this restaurant and it has quickly become our family staple! Start out with their delicious chips and salsa. Then move on to my favorite - the Bandera enchiladas, or you simply cannot go wrong with their mouth watering fajitas and fresh tortillas. Our only complaint is that service can sometimes be slow and iffy depending on who you get and how solid their English skills are. But overall, great portions, nice family ambience and wonderful value!

P.S. - I've heard that this restaurant had a rocky start from several folks who've not visited it in a year or more. Everyone I know who's been there lately though has been pleased.

LOVE this restaurant!

We LOVE Guadalajara in Cedar Park!! We have eaten there several times and especially recommend their tamales, cheese enchiladas, and frozen margaritas. There is nothing fancy about their food but it has been consistently good with large portions. The service is nice - although sometimes it is difficult to understand the servers due to strong accents - and the outdoor patio is a great change from sitting inside. DEFINITELY give Guadalajara a visit!

You want greeeesy Mexican food? You got it!

This place looks nice enough. They have decorated the restaurant to make it fun and festive. The wait staff is good, but they got my order wrong. I ordered beef and they delivered chicken. Never mind, I was ok with chicken and ate what they gave me. Problem was that the food is SWIMMING in grease. Everytime I took a forkfull of food I had to notice the abudant clear liquid (grease) on my plate. I like rich Mexican food as much as the next person, but does there have to be a pool of grease with the food swimming in it? have eaten a lot of Mexican food since living in the southwest for the last 23 years, but this is just way too much grease. Yuck! If you are intent on clogging your arteries this is the place to come and eat! Otherwise, the service was pretty friendly. Take my review with a grain of salt, the other reviews seem to indicate this is the best place in town to eat. I guess I probably just don't get it. NM has better Mexican food! Nothing special here at all as far as I am concerned.

Great Food and Service

My wife and I eat here at least once a week. We enjoy the food, beer, margaritas, other people and the staff. The food has been very consistant. I would rate it as the best in Central Texas. Other places we have visited had good and bad nights. The owner always takes the time to see how we are doing. I enjoy supporting a business like this. The owners live in the area and take pride in provieding great service and food.

If you ever get the chance be sure to stop by and check this place out!

Watch out for insects in your margarita....

Went here with another couple. Food was average, nothing special and nothing to complain about. The service was just ok. It went downhill when I found an insect in my margarita. Complained gently and asked for a beer instead. Youw ould think they would have put it "on the house", but Nooooo. You would think the manager would come over and apologize. Nope. Left a bad vibe, won't go back. Also, there were TONS of kids running around everywhere. Apparently after ball games parents go here and let their kids run rampit. They were all over the parking lot setting off car alarms like crazy. SO much for an adult night out at 9 pm!

• Pros: Can always find a coupon in the phone book, mailers, you name it
• Cons: Poor service, maragritas need a strainer for insects
