A vast, independent music store that relies on used CD sales.

In Short
First-time shoppers may be overwhelmed by the constant quick clicking of CDs flipped through by regulars checking out new arrivals in this vast store. These front sections are organized by the day of arrival (Monday bin, etc). After a week, merchandise is added to the wooden alphabetized bins that fill the poster-clad store. This includes current top singers, forgotten '80s bands and rare recordings. Bins are reserved for upcoming local concerts and in-store performances.

Be careful not to spend your rent money!

Cheapo's is really an experience. Go and just listen...click click click click click - rows and rows of people searching for that surprise treasure. You usually can find at least 10 Cd's you would buy if you had the money. Although the price is right, be careful not to spend your rent money...use your food money instead! Who needs food when you have great music?

Cheapo is agreat place to find out of print or eccentric stuff not stocked in other stores.
