I'm really suprised at Heather's review. I don't usually write reviews (b/c of spam which I'm sure to get after registering on the site) but seeing the negative review as I was looking up the Final Touch number, I thought a reality check was in order.

I'm probably one of the most picky people when it comes to my hair. In my 42 years I have found very few hair stylists who can do a good job with my very fine hair. Since moving to the Round Rock area 2 years ago, I tried 4 different stylists before I found Shelly. Shelly has been great the 3 times she's cut my hair and the two times she highlighted it. She also gave my daughter the cutest bob. I can't tell you how many compliments we've gotten on how cute my daughter's hair cut is. Royce cut my son's and my husband's hair and did a great job.

Shelly is a consummate professional. She has always been there for the appt and been on time (which I had two different great stylists in Houston--but both were frequently late or not there). She is also very quick in a good way--she is efficient at her craft which is great given how busy our family is.

Both Shelly and Royce are nice and mature people--one of the last stylists I saw before Shelly, who was also more expensive (probably to pay for all the billboards with her picture on them) and just down 620, spent most of the time during the cut chatting and giggling with another stylist.

Final Touch is in a strip mall and it doesn't look like a fancy spa and no, they don't have a cappuccino machine--but if you're looking for a solid professional who can give you a great cut and highlight for a reasonable price, I strongly recommend Shelly.

My hair is dark naturally but I wear it very blonde. Anyone who has blonde hair knows you have to have a great colorist or else you will look like sh*t. Brassy, fried hair is never hot, even if you are Britney Spears. I just moved to Austin from California and was so worried about finding a colorist; thank god I found Brooke.

I have job in PR and I need my hair to look Hollywood. Brooke always delivers! Even if I just go in for a wash and dry, I come out looking like Kim Kardashian. Not only does she use the best quality coloring products, she is super careful so that my hair stays healthy and on point. She will also help you pick out Shamp&Conditioner to match your specific hair needs. The colors that she chose for my low lights and highlights really compliment my skin tone and look natural. I even decided to get some extensions and they look awesome!! She colored them to match my hair and cut in some layers so you can't even tell. Even my close friends commented on my hair "growing" not even realizing... I still haven't told them!

She always has so many ideas for stylish cuts and there are a ton of hair magazines to look at for inspiration. Bangs, no bangs, the break-up chop, short cuts, long layers... Brooke has hooked it up. I am not kidding, she knows her industry. She will also notice the mistakes of another stylist (oops... I cheated out of desperation)! One thing you can count on, is that she very honest and won't let you leave Final Touch until your hair looks great. She does such a good job I always give her an extra $20...

• Cons: Pricey, but totally worth every penny

Relaxed, Unique Space

After reading reviews for multiple salons online, I decided to try Final Touch and left with mixed impressions. Overall, I had a good experience and will likely go back.

First, I have never been to a salon before where each stylist makes their own appointments and where they are seemingly open by appointment only- rather am used to a receptionist making appointments for everyone and each stylist has set hours, so it was a different feel from scheduling to leaving.

My stylist was very personable and easy to talk with, just seemed to take a long time/not efficient (1.5 hours and should not have taken more than an hour for just a cut). Also, the space strongly smelled of hair and nail products.

I am generally pleased with the results and the little I would change, can be easily fixed with my next visit. Sometimes a client and stylist just need an adjustment period.

Eileen's the BEST hair stylist!!!!!

I have had my hair done several times by Eileen. I usually go in and tell her that it's her choice and to do something fresh and new. She has not let me down once!!!! I trust her with my hair, and trust me...I am VERY picky with who can touch my hair.

I go to her everytime I need a new style or just a touch up. She always makes me feel welcome, and it's always great seeing her.

I tell all my friends and co-workers about her.

A Total Gem!!!!

I have had my hair cut and styled by Eileen several times. I don't trust many to touch my hair so finding her was a true gem! She's friendly & knowledgeable on the latest hair trends putting me @ ease knowing my hair is in trusted hands. I would totally recommend this salon to any of my friends looking for a great stylist!

Best hair salon

I really liked how Eileen did my hair. I thought it was a really nice place very clean unlike someother random salons, and the attention you get there is great. She was really kind and explained to me what kind of things would damage my hair alot, just like she told me what kind of treatments were good for my type of hair.She was gentle and didnt make my head hurt like some other ladies would in some other place. I really like this Salon :) and i recommend it to people because the workers are really nice, and treat you really good. I love this Salon :)

"Beautiful Clean Salon"

I've been getting pedicures at this salon, for over 3 years. This salon is clean,clean. The new owner has done a beautiful job of redoing the salon. They only use quality products. They have added Full Service Hairdressers. You can even get hair extensions and permanent makeup. Everyone should check this salon out!!
