Dezire not just for A-list

Dezire is not just for the Austin A-list. They have a new woman that works in the front that is really nice. I have been getting my hair styled from Arnold there for awhile now and he is a style guru and genious! I have curly hair and it is hard to find a great sylist that can manage my locks. I'm a social worker and like to spend a little money sometime to look and feel great and this is the place to go. The only cons are the other employees don't pay any attention to me. If they did, they might have me coming in there for manicures and waxing. I go elsewhere for that.

Happy when I leave...

I've been going to Dezire ever since my stylist, Shelly, started working there last year. I am always happy when I leave; Shelly is a joy to spend a couple of hours with and applying very blond highlights to naturally dark blonde/light brown hair is not easy. She also teaches me how to fix my hair the best way and suggests different products, but is not pushy for me to buy from the salon. I have recommended Dezire to my friends and also recommend it to anyone looking for a new place with great service and lovely atmosphere.

This is the best place I have been to in years. Dealing in the entertainment industy, I have to look my best every day no matter what. The entire staff has gone out of thier way to help me with a full line of products. Since I have been going to this salon I have refered many people here with the same results as myself. What is even more impressive would be the fact that I have my hair colored and highlighted. For a male it usually is very noticable but not with Dezire. No one can really tell that this isn't my natural color. Finally, since I am infront of high profiled clients they turned me onto a makeup line to help conceal a few flaws. They took the time to sit down with me and help me on technique, NO ONE and I mean no one can.

Be Ware of Owner!!!

I was going to the owner for about a year i could not afford her anymore so i started doing my own hair she kept having the front call and tell me that i missed another appointment well i had cancelled all the pre booked ones i had. Then she tried to charge me for it.....what a mess though its cleared up now i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone be ware of the fake personality seems i am not the only one who noticed this ...if you are not a celebrity or someone with lots of $$$$$$ to blow then find a place other than here....and be prepared for them to try to sale you products you don't even need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you really want to be careful here they push push push products just because not because you really need them i felt on edge the whole time i was having my service.....everyone there was very "nice" but it was all really fake..be prepared for high prices for average services. beautiful decor

got my hair hightlighted {partial} and left looking like i needed it done for a month it was terrible then i was charged 170 $ for a terrible job i did not say anything i just paid, way to expensive for unexperienced stylist...i don't mind paying for a good services but this was way off.

Beautiful decor. The rest is nothing special. Be prepared for the fake personality scene. Too $$$.

Great/ Fun Place!!!

This is the first salon that I've have enjoyed every service they have!! The prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of service you receive.The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing!! You feel right at home here and I would recommend this salon to everyone.
