money hungry!

The place is alright to go in for just one drink! But the place is loud and only friendly depending on their moods of the day. Also watch your tabs and what size bill you give them, they will try to rake you over and over again if your not paying attention, they are money hungry and will try to keep your change by batting their eyes at you.

I had the best time!

Me and my boyfriend were visitng Austin and walking around 6th street and one of the Coyote Ugly bouncers stopped us and was trying to convince us to come in but we were headed to dinner so we said we'd be back. After having a couple of drinks, we went back to Coyote Ugly and needless to say, I hopped myself up on the bar and did some dancing! The bartenders were really nice and handed out shots to all the girls on the bar! They even did a dance routine themselves. It was one of the highlights of the evening!

Best Bar on Sixth Street

Recently my sister from Dallas and myself, from California, decided to go check out Sixth Street in Austin on a Saturday Night. It was hopping and we walked all the way up one side and down the other going in and out of shops and bars. We had stopped in at Coyote Ugly and enjoyed it and at the end of our walk we decided that it was the best one and went back for more. It was very entertaining and it was the most comfortable. It's not fancy and certainly not a dive. We were waited on frequently and had a lot of laughs. Next time I'm in Austin, I'm hanging out there for the entire night.

• Pros: Very Entertaining
• Cons: They let anybody up on that bar! I like the professionals better.

Sexy bartenders with take-charge attitudes run this joint. Old and new radio favorites blast overhead, while dancers and uninhibited ladies respond to the music. A 60-foot-long bar spans the left side, while the right is crowded with curious onlookers gawking at impulsive bar-top dancers. Although it can be difficult ordering a drink between grinding legs, the mirror behind the bar makes the effort tolerable. Those wanting to enjoy conversations with friends escape explore the patio overlooking the pedestrian-filled street.

Old men to watch voyeuristic females

I have been to Coyote Ugly a couple times with 2 different groups of friends who come from mostly a pop culture background. I guess this is why they chose to insist that everyone go to "Coyote Ugly". Both times that I attended were pretty main stream "going out" hours when the streets were packed, yet, Coyote seemed to be the only bar on 6th packed with old lonely men and girls, sometimes with there younger siblings, who insisted on dancing on the bar for everyone, including their younger brothers, to get a peak of their... dare i say "wild sensuality". Both times were a pretty gross experience. I will do everything in my persuasive power to never go there again.

Pushy antics not so funny

May be good for a drink and to watch cute bartenders...but, i found the place annoying...the waitresses would scream over the microphone to almost bully those without a drink to get one...also wanted to charge people $5 for a glass of water, even when the people were also drinking...also, very few attractive women, besides the bartenders...i found some humor in their antics, but it got old after a while

Coyote Rocks!!

Such a fun bar to sit and have a drink!! I took 3 completely different groups of people there (business, college, young family) and they all LOVED it!! Most of the bartenders are fun and take great care of you...plus a good portion can really dance and it makes for a great show (esp. Wendy, Renee, and Katie!). Lots of seating and lots of fun!

Awesome Bar

As a regular in the original Coyote Ugly in NY, I can say this bar is one of the best I've been to (not just the coyote ugly's I've been to) The girls are great the music is also and made my trip to Texas worth it.

Stay at home and watch the movie. Yes, the bartenders are cute, but any other bar on 6th street will have much more cuter girls, they just don't happen to be dancing on the bar. Spending more than one drink in this bar for the novelty is not recommended
