great atmosphere and results!

I started waxing at Alite about a year ago and through many chats during my appointments, felt comfortable starting with actual laser hair removal. I got a great prices and love the atmosphere. Everyone there is very welcoming and made me feel at ease. I even convinced my husband to do his neck...and he loves not having to shave! If your looking for great results and great prices..Alite is your place for hair removal :)

Best Place To Have Hair Removed Ever!!!

I just read the wax review below and I have to say, I completely disagree. I am a 20 year old student at UT and have had my fair share of Brazilian waxes. My experiance at Alite Laser was the best yet. From the moment I walked in the door they made me feel comfortable and the special they had going on made me feel even better cause I knew I could afford it. The girl who did my brazilian wax obviously had lots of experiance and removed my hair with ease and minimal discomfort. She checked with me to make sure the wax was a comfortable temperature, which it was, and talking with her was like talking to my best friend. I was in and out of the door in a very short amount of time.

After going to Alite a few times I decided that I was sick of shaving my armpits and was going to treat myself to laser. The price really is very affordable and I am currently on my third treatment and loving not shaving!! The treatment is not painful and the results are fantastic, what more can a girl ask for??! As soon as I can afford to start doing brazilian laser I will, but for the time being I am more than happy to continue waxing here at Alite. I love all the staff because they are professional and fun to be with.

Get waxed here if you love long drawn out pain.

I can't speak for the laser treatments but I have had a Brazilian here and it was the second worst I've ever had. It's given that Brazilians hurt but there is a wrong and a right way to do them. First of all the wax was way too hot. She did a ton of very small messy applications instead of few large clean one. She tugged at each application several times before it finally let loose. The girl was young and didn't have very good "bedside manner". Please excuse if the following is too graphic but that's my point exactly. After each removal shed show me the resulting piece of discarded wax as if it was a trophy. No thanks. See my other reviews if you want to know where to go.

• Cons: parking, lack of professionalism and skill.

Better prices, better laser and comfortable surroundings

I'm a 40 yrs male who first went in for back and chest hair removal. I was nervous walking into such a place for the initial consult, but Heidi made me feel very comfortable and informed. I had consulted with a larger "chain" operator but never felt at ease enough to go back. My hair responded very well and the treatment eliminated troublesome in-grown hair problems! And the smooth skin results are fantastic and I feel so much more confident about my looks!!

It really is Austin's best!!

I am a young woman who was sick of shaving my legs and bikini line, especially because I got really irritated and red, which looked almost worse than hair! I had looked into laser hair removal but I didn't really know anything about it. I decided to call and get some information. The receptionist was so nice and friendly that I felt comfortable even over the phone. I scheduled a free consultation and was given all the information I needed in a timely manner and scheduled my first appointment! So far I have had three treatments and the results are amazing! Not having to shave for almost two months between treatments is a blessing. To begin with I was weirded out about undressing in front of a stranger, but the technicians made me relax before I was even in the room. I have sent several friends to Alite and they are all equally as happy with the service and the affordibility. Knowing that I don't have to worry about shaving before putting on a bikini is such a relief! They have been prompt with all my appointments and are willing to work with my schedule to book me at the most convenient time. The atmosphere of the office is relaxed and friendly. I would comfortably send anyone from my mother to my boyfriend into Alite because I know they would receive the best treatment in Austin by some of the friendliest people I have ever met! If you have been thinking about having Laser done, don't hesitate, and go to the best place!

Good for guys

I am a 30-year old male. I went to Alite for treatment on my back and shoulders, and I had never sought treatment anywhere before. I was nervous but what people say on the other reviews is true--the people and setting are professional but comfortable. At the consultation and treatments they answer your questions and get you on your way without rushing and without wasting time. They just take care of business in a friendly way.

I have had good results--better than I expected, actually--and I'm not done with treatments yet, so the treatment itself has worked for me, too.

Since starting at Alite I moved away and got treatment at another place in another town (it also had high ratings on citysearch), but it was not as good as Alite. The people at the other place did a sloppy job and took less time, missing spots and not covering all of what they said they'd cover and charged me for.

Excellent Results!

I am a woman with very thick hair and after giving birth twice I noticed my bikini area and lip and chin had more hair then it should. I am so happy now my lip has no more hair, so no more bleaching. My bikini area always looks clean and I barely have to shave. I used to have to shave everyday. The treatments are worthwhile for the price!

Easy and Painless

I have done it all with little or no success. Electrolysis, waxing, tweezing, bleaching, shaving....You name it! With laser hair removal, I found it to be faster and less expensive than electrolysis, longer lasting than waxing. I had my bikini line, underarms and legs successfully lasered. The process was easy and painless and the results are great. Thanks Heidi and Staff!

I wanted to take the time to write about Heidi and the staff at Alite. I have to tell you I was a little nervous about trying laser hair removal out...I "shopped around" and read many reviews b4 visiting them and I must tell you as a 1st timer they made me feel really at ease they were professional, courteous, and has excellent prices compared to many of the other places I researched.
