If I did not have a relative that is a hair dresser at a different salon, I would be getting ALL of my "beauty" services from Olena's. They are great and very suitable for the area and the customers in this neghborhood. In my opinion they even exeed the the standards of this area. The salon is very clean comparing to other ones nearby. The facials are great! Olena has lot of good products and helpful advise to offer. The Manicures and Pedicures are the best I have ever gotten. The French Pedi or Mani makes my phalanges look like those of a model. Valentina does a great job! Do I recommend their services? You bet I do. I have to admit the Womens Fitness Center is great but too expensive for me.

Getting my hair cut there was a waste of time/money I would not recommend, I left with split ends, and not the cut I wanted. Maybe it was just the person who did my hair that wasn't very experienced but I was pretty disappointed. But I got my nails done there some time ago, and I would definetly recommend that, Valentina did a really good job, very relaxing.

Olena's is one of the few places here in Portland that is conveniantly located, and offers such luxurious services. Anna has been doing my hair for about three years now, and I just love how she does them. She always makes sure that each hair is cut perfectly and that the color is exactly what you wanted. Valentina is the best nail tech. Her station is very cean and sanitized. It seems that doing nails is her passion, and she'll do everything to make sure that you got the best manicure / pedicure. Check it out yourself, and you will not be disappointed.

My mom and I have been going to this salon for years and... we LOVE IT! Great friendly staff that's ready to go the extra mile just for you!:) Olena is The Face of the salon, she does incredible facials, very relaxing, comfortable - if I could I would start everyday with one. She's knowledgeable about her line of business just like the rest of her staff. Irina does great haircuts and coloring, I only trust her with my hair, and I've tried a lot of people. Valentina (mani/pedi) does the best French pedicure and manicure, it last and last, and she will do anything to satisfy your needs. For a little extra, I recommend the chocolate or peach wax-dip for you feet. You'll feel as if you were walking on air. Overall, will (and am) recommend to anyone. By the way, try a massage... ohhh so relaxing, you wouldn't want to leave.

Pros: Parking, flexible hours, one stop salon, staff willing to go the extra mile

Cons: Sometimes hard to get in at the last minute

My first impression was going to the front desk and there were two women behind the desk who acted like I was bothering them and pointed to the chairs for me to sit. The pedicure was not outstanding for paying $55.00. The room was off to the side but there was a supply room inside the pedicure room and people were going back and forth the whole time not making it very relaxing. My appointment was the last one of the day and I felt there was a rush to get me out of there. The products were okay. Nothing outstanding for the cost. I have had better for less.

OLENA'S IS THE GREATEST PLACE TO GET A FACIAL. SHE HAS DONE MY FACIAL'S FOR OVER TEN YEARS AND I WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE.SHE IS BOTH KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD RECOMEND OLENA'S TO ANYONE.

Pros: AMBIENCE, ATMOSPHERE, PROFESSIONAL AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

A friend of mine recommended that I try Olena's, I have just moved into the area a couple of months ago, and I'm very glad I did... It was a wonderful experience. Olena greeted me and made me feel right at home. Her facials are famous, and now I know why. She has a very gifted touch. Her facial was incredible, the best I have had in a long time... Afterwards, She made some recommendations to clean up some problems I have had with my skin, and I just love the products. They are much better than the products I have been buying off the shelf. It has really helped my skin the past three weeks. I also had my hair cut and highlighted, the same day. They were able to take me without an appointment. I tried a new cut, and it turned out very nice. I am very pleased. Everyone was very gracious and helpful. I will be going back. Its a great place, very relaxing and a nice ambience. And the staff if very proffesional and talented, at least the ones I have tried so far. I highly recommend Olena's.

I started going to this Spa, several months ago, just after I had my new baby. My husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas and I went in mid January. I have been to other spa's in Portland, but none of them treated me as kindly and special as Olena's... They pampered me from the moment I walked in and all through the two hours I spent there. It was heaven, and so much appreciated. I haven't been treated so nice in such a long time. Many of the other places I visited were either like a Dr. Office, clinical-unfriendly, or very corporate business-like and not too personal. Every moment of my experience at Olena's I felt like I was a very special person. My first facial in a long time was truly heavenly... Given by Olena herself, she has such a wonderful soft relaxing touch. I almost fell asleep half way into it. My skin looked better than it has in a long time, and I felt so relaxed. Then I had a manicure and pedicure in their gorgeous manicure room. Very pleasant and pampered again, my hands and feet never looked better. It was the best gift my husband could have given me. I loved it and have been back almost every month or so. Each time the service by the "girls" is great, professional and very relaxing. I love this place !!! Last month they opened an all women's fitness club upstairs. It looks very nice and unlike any fitness club I have ever seen... One of their trainers, Audy, showed me around, and told me all about the beautiful "Club". I felt there was no pressure to sign up. I told her that perhaps after summer was over and the kids were back in school... she said that would be great. It is really a beautiful place for a woman who wants to work out in a private, clean, home-like atmosphere. This is a great addition to Olena's Spa and I can't wait to give it a try.

This spa could be good, but to many things just weren't conducive to a relaxing time.. first, even though they show they accept credit cards when you walk in and when I called to make the appointment they said they accepted, when I was ready to leave they didn't want to.. I asked why and they said that they would have to use the owner's machine. I never did find out why that would be a problem. They recommended an ATM machine close by to get cash, but the overall effect was that I felt like the person doing something wrong for not carrying cash around with me.. Also they are putting in a new women only workout area, which is cool, but I felt very pressured to 'see' the area even though I did not want to.. They repeated that several times and I felt like I was not going to get out of there without seeing it. Overall, I felt like they were there for themselves, not for me and that is such a disappointing day spa experience. I will not be going back even though this seems to be one of the few places in Portland that offers a spa pedicure

I found Olena's Spa is a beautiful place with skilled staff and a friendly atmosphere. The service here was excellent, and the beauty care products they use at the Spa are very good. I was impressed with the range of services and treatments available at the Spa, and Olena's facial is one of the best I have ever experienced. I found the prices at Olen's to be very reasonable, and I plan to come back again soon! Give this Spa a try and you won't be disappointed ... :-)
