My husband and I began trying to have children around the beginning of 2004. After a year of no luck, we were well on our way through the emotional journey of infertility. My doctors had diagnosed me with polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis. Like most women struggling with fertility, I had tried several different fertility treatments, hormone injections, and even had a laparoscopy to check for and treat endometriosis. When I cam to Katie, I was frustrated and had really begun to give up hope. Adoption started to sound like the best option. I decided to try acupuncture as a last resort, not sure what the outcome would be. After just four monthly cycles of Chinese herbs and weekly acupuncture, I am very happy to announce that I am seven weeks pregnant--with twins! Katie's encouragement and caring spirit really helpe dme through. I just knew I had to give it some time and be patient. During those four months, my temperatures started to regulate and signs of ovulation became apparent. My sleep cycles began returning to normal, and I felt less anxious and stressed. Good luck to each of you who are struggling and don't give up hope. Though at times it is difficult, remember to practice patience--you'll need it when you bring that baby home! Ahhhhh, what a relief! The caring atttitude, knowledge, and expertise of my acupuncturist, Matt, just took my pain and stress away! I can't think of a better holiday gift for yourself or your loved ones than an Ancient Arts experience with Matt. Now that my neck and shoulder pain have disappeared I can give Matt the applause he deserves.

Treatment relieved muscle and joint soreness that were bothering me for months. Made a major difference in how I feel.
Pros: good listeners
Cons: location -- it's a 30-minute trek for me.

I'm in my third trimester of pregnancy and Matt's acupuncture really helped with all the aches and pains. I have found that it is one of the only things that helps me with my lower back pain and soreness and helps with some of the stress and anxiety of being a first time mom!

I wasn't sure that acupuncture was the right step for me, but after my visit with Matt at Ancient Arts Acupuncture I am so glad I went. The professional but comforting procedures really eased my lower back pains in ways that chiropracters and even massage therapists have not been able to do. I highly recommend this location, and ask for Matt. He was very helpful.

Katie is the best acupuncturist. She is extremely knowledgable and has rid me of the pain that I was told that I would have to live with for the rest of my life or have major back surgery. She is so nice and flexible and her prices are very reasonable.

Katie seems to really know acupuncture and herbal medicine. She was very good and I could not even feel the needles! I have had shoulder problems for years and had been told I would have to live with the pain. After 3 treatments I have not had any pain. Thanks -- Katie
