Tamed my thick Asian hair
by Sami78 at Citysearch
Do Asians cut better Asian hair? The long-haired Korean stylist did! It was my first visit, and I will definitely be going back to him for my next cut. He did a great job thinning out my thick mane and texturizing it to give me a cute and sassy new look. Be prepared with a picture if you don't speak Korean.
- Pros: Great cut!
- Cons: Communication
dont go there
by TB89 at Citysearch
My hair is completely destroyed by the digital perm. It 's hard to communicate with the hair dresser. She always tries to show that she understands everything you said but she does not listen to what you really want. The staff is unfriendly and impolite. It's damn hurt during the process. Go there if you want to try some "heavy -duty" method for your hairs.
- Pros: none
- Cons: unfriendly,unexperiened,out of date....

Affordable Service
by iluvaustin85 at Citysearch
The place is clean and affordable. I got a magic, straightening perm for $150. It's probably one of the cheapest straightening perms you can find in Austin. However, because I do not speak any Korean, I had to talk through the owner who spoke a little English. I didn't really appreciate the service as they were really tough on my hair and weren't really friendly when I talked to them. I suggest to bring a friend who knows Korean, if it's possible. They are pretty approachable and they get the job done.
I thought the price was mediocre considering I have heard of cheaper places in Houston and in Dallas.
- Pros: Affordable, Clean
- Cons: Hard to explain to them specifically what I want

Finally an Asian hair salon with latest techniques and styles. I got a digital perm there and I love the way it turned out. It's little bit pricier than Korean salons in CA but as good. I will definitely visit again to get a magic perm next time. Only problem I had with last visit was even with my appointment I didn't get my hair done on time.
- Pros: Friendly, Latest styles, reasonable price
- Cons: Small place, Crowded
