The work-outs aren't anything more than you can get at your local gym....some are actually easier, and most are less inspiring. The regularity of the work-outs is the best part, but other than that, I don't think it's worth the money.

Unfortunately, there is no way to verify that this individual has ever taken one of our camps. It seems that they haven't and may simply be a competitor... I don't know, but what I do know is that we have won numerous awards including Exercise TV's Best Boot Camp (in the country) and have received hundreds of great feedback and testimonials!!! Check them out for yourself: http://www.atxbootcamp.com/testimonials.htm

This camp has changed my life. I have seen great results. I've been in the camp since Oct 2007 and I have not stopped. The trainers are great. They are so motivated to help people. They encourage and push me to always do my best to have a healthy lifestyle. My bestfriend has joined and she is loving it as well. I am so much stronger, faster and healthier. I recommend this camp to everyone!!!

I had the best time! Getting up so early in the morning I thought would be hard but the trainer is so motivating - plain and simply put - I had fun! Well worth the money!

Pros: Your own personal trainer, fun and inspiring environment.

Cons: The individualized meal plan is way overpriced for what you get - not worth the expense.

ATX Bootcamp is a great way to work out. I started back in October '06 and I saw such great results I've done seven sessions so far. The trainers are awesome, they are really focused on making sure that everyone (no matter their fitness level) gets a good workout. The people at camp are a great support system and really help me keep focused on my weight loss goals. Two months ago I started on a nutrition plan with ATX and saw dramatic results (13 lbs lost in the first three weeks!) I've tried various gyms, group programs, home videos, even other bootcamps but Austin Adventure Bootcamp has been the best workout program. My fitness level has skyrocketed. I feel stronger, I've lost 54 lbs and my mile time has never been faster!

Pros: Great workout and Excellent support!

Cons: Sometimes the morning class is crowded at the start of the sessions

I thought I was heading in a direction of no return-3 kids later and they have all lost their baby fat and here I am still carrying it. I tried working out on my own, tried taking step/aerobic classes, tried Nutrisystem and nothing was working. The last day of Spring Break I saw the commercial for Austin Adventure Boot Camp and decided to give it a try. I am now on my 3rd session, thanks to Danielle(Bee Caves) who totally encourages me, keeps me motivated and is constantly having to remind me to keep my shoulders back to improve my posture. I have to say in my first session(M-W-F x 4wks) there wasn't necessarily a change in my weight or my measurements but I lost 2.2% body fat and that made a big difference in how I felt physically and emotionally. Please do yourself a favor and come join in on the fun, I promise you feel better about yourself just after 1 full camp!

Pros: Danielle, varied workouts, social hour w/new friends that have a commom goal

Cons: waking up retired muscles

This is the best workout in Austin without question. An excellent value for your money. I am a repeat morning camper and have no plans to stop. I can see and feel the results from the workouts and it's great. If I can wake up and get to the 5:15am camp - you can too. Julie (our instructor) is awesome!

Pros: Highly varied workouts

I am in my fourth session of ATX bootcamp and love it! I did two sessions last summerr and kept up my exercise program until the Jan. cold storms came and then became sedentary. After 4 months of being lazy I realized that summer was approaching with great speed and decided to re-enlist. I am in my fourth week of bootcamp and love the results! I am stronger than before and my timed mile is now under 9 minutes. This is a great program and while it is a little difficult to wake up at 4:30 a.m., I love the fact that my workout is done for the day. Laura is a great motivator who is very sincere and interested in bringing out the best in each individual. I intend to complete at least another two bootcamps before the end of summer!

At the beginning of May I had a dress fitting for my upcoming July wedding. During the fitting it became clear that my attempts to lose weight on my own were not very successful and I needed help rapidly! In a panic I searched online for a boot camp program in Austin and stumbled upon the Austin Adventure Boot Camp website. The next 4 week session was starting the following day at 5:15am. After much deliberation over whether or not I'd be able to get up at 4:45 every morning I signed up. It was the best decision I've ever made in regards to losing weight and getting healthier. It became my challenge to prove that I could make it every day. Getting up was difficult in the beginning, but once I was there I felt so good that I'd made it. At least I could look back after the wedding and say that I'd given my all to get in shape. My greatest personal achievement during the class was succeeding in running a mile without stopping (and doing pushups)! Karen is very motivating and entertaining and plans each morning differently so you don't get bored. Austin Adventure Boot Camp is very responsive to the feedback from attendees. I attended every session for six weeks....on the morning of my wedding I put on my dress and discovered it had actually become a little loose!!! What a change from when I started boot camp!! Now that the wedding is over I am back attending boot camp...I must admit that this time around I have slightly less motiviation to get up 5 days a week at 4:45am, but I'm still mananging 3 or 4 and still enjoying it! Who'd have ever thought I'd enjoy a boot camp!?

Pros: Early mornings so there is no excuse not to go, Instructor Karen

Cons: Getting up so early!
