I recently decided to go from dark brown to blonde and tried doing it ON MY OWN!!! (BAD< BAD< BAD idea). Needless to say it left me with awful color (pinkish/orange) and my hair in bad shape. I made an appt. with Cheri and she worked a miracle on my hair! I left their a new woman. Not only in appearance but my spirits as well. The whole staff was warm and friendly. I was a first time customer, and I will be going back.

Emali has been doing my color for a few years and I just recently followed her to Salon Cherie. I do a horrible job of explaining what color i want, but she always gets it exactly right. We all know that color fades after a week or two of shampooing, but the best thing about her is that she mixes a color that looks good right when you leave the salon and is the PERFECT color once it's faded a little. She also can work whatever hours she wants, so she is great for people w/difficult schedules. She's fabulous!

Pros: easy parking, convenient location (right off mopac), flexible hours

Cherie gave me the absolute best hair cut and highlights I've had in years!!! I walked in with what felt like dull, drab, boring hair and I left with cute, sassy, bright, warm, fun, blonde hair. You know you got a great hair cut when you not only love how it looks, but love the way it makes you feel. The color I received is jaw dropping-wow!!! Everyone at work complemented my hair, even guys that I don't talk to ... :o). Cherie is extremely professional and courteous with every client. She has a great eye too... she knew exactly what cut, style, length would work well with the thickness and texture of my hair. I have EXTREMELY thick hair... that has natural wave. It looks like an absolute mushroom if I do not round brush it. Cherie stacked the back, keeping long layers on the top and plenty of length around my face. She thinned it out and I love the way she cut and texturized my bangs. Ladies... if you have been cursed with unruly thick hair... Cherie is the one for you!!!!

I went to Salon Cherie last week for a total makeover! I went to Cherie for my cut and highlights. After a very thorough consultation she was able to give what no other stylist in five years has been able. I am a strawberry blonde and she was able to help me find the words that I needed to tell her what I wanted. Thank you for taking the time to do that. Then I went to Jennifer for my nails. I love then and the are holding up well. Last, but certainly not least I retreated back to Lauren's room where she gave me a " Brow Design". I have really light brows and she was able to color and shape brows I didn't even know that I had. She is a fantastic! My husband had nothing but nice things to say and my 15 year old son even made a few flattering comment. The salon couldn't be cuter and the staff is so sweet. If you are looking for a place to get all you needs meet at on time this is the place to go!

Pros: You can't go wrong with this place!

Carolyn rocks! I went in this past Friday with a terrible hair cut and mousy brown hair and came out with a definite wow factor!! Now I have beautiful color with just a hint of red that really pops and a haircut that fits me perfectly. When I first walked into the salon I immediatley felt at ease, the atmosphere is very friendly and everyone that works there is cheerful and fun to be around. I highly recommend Carolyn and Salon Cherie to anyone looking for a great experience!!!

I 100% agree with the comment below. I have been getting my nails done by Jennifer for over 6 months now and am constantly getting compliments on my nails. I highly recommend her.

Salon Cherie has a new Nail Tech. She is the the bomb. She did my fills and OMG they are beautiful. I have pink and white nails and she does a really neat step to get the white perfect. The BEST I have ever had. Jennifer is the best nail tech I have been to in years. My search is over. If you are like me and picky she's the one for the job.

Carolyn at Salon Cherie gave me the perfect, funky bob. My hair was a little too "soccer mom" and I walked out feeling 24...I am really only 28. Ha-ha. Anyway I told her what bothered me about my previous cut and gave her creative freedom. I am so glad I did and would recommend her to everyone.

My old stylist was moving out of town (boo hoo!), so I had to find a new place, and I heard about Mona from a friend so I booked an appointment with her at Salon Cherie. Well I sure am glad I did! I booked with Mona, whose friendly service made me feel like I was at Nordstrom's. She is a color expert and she made my hair look fantastic. She recommended a three color process and spent time talking to me about what kind of colors would work well with my face shape and hair - and the end result is that my hair looks better than it ever has. I am thrilled with the result and feel like I got an education about hair. I will definitely book with Mona again. I am so happy I found a new stylist!

Pros: Mona's service is excellent - very friendly and attentive

After moving down here from NY it has been hard for me to find another stylist. I keep going to salons with photos and am very direct about the cut I desire. It just seems as if my words go in one ear and out the other. I was very pleased with Salon Cherie. The first time I went there I scheduled an appointment with the owner Cherie. I let her know about my situation with stylists and my hair problems (super fine, flat, split ends.) I brought a photo and as she went along she stopped to ask me specific questions to ensure I would leave satisfied. Cherie also provided me with tips and tricks to keep my hair looking good, and she wasn't afraid to say "this might not be the best thing for you/your hair."

Pros: decent price, quiet location, plenty of parking

Cons: having to remember to schedule about a week+ ahead of time
