The food is never disappointing, the wine here is spectacular, and the servers are very knowledgable. This small (and cute) restaurant is perfect for dates. Would recommend this to any wine or meditteranean style food lovers!
Pros: Plenty of parking, ambience, great service, best wine
Cons: If busy, the food can take a while, grant yourself time to spare.

The food was delicious, and the wine selection cannot be beat. The staff was very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine pairings. I definitely recommend their Dolmas as a starter. My only complaint was that while the food was superbly cooked, and I enjoyed everything, much of the menu was available at other fine dining establishments. Granted, I am not a sea-food fan, and a lot of their menu was fish, so I might have just been missing out on their most original dishes. If you don't mind spending $100-150 on a date here, you can't go wrong.

Call and get directions because yahoo lies about the location. Granted we were startving when we arrived so we were disappointed no bread was offered. Backstory..I asked if their mashed potatoes have lumps (because that's how I like it) and I was told no they did not so I opted for the barley rice pilaf. Okay it seemed like our food was taking forever to come out and just when we were at the brink of becoming violent, the food appeared. My steak wrap was amazing, full of flavor I didn't even need the horseradish sour cream (which fyi could have used more horseradish.) I was not the biggest fan of my rice pilaf, very bland. Erin had ordered the mashed potatoes and they DID have lumps and were phenomenal!! If it wasn't for the steak wrap being amazing I would have been mad about the mashed potatoes because they were exactly what i had been asking for! All in all, the food is great and I definitely want to go back for dinner and try the chilean sea bass!

Love, love. love Vin! The food is fabulous, the chef is friendly & talented, and the servers are knowledgeable about food & wine. The only downside is it does get hot in the summer when it's crowded but other than that-no complaints. I'd highly recommend the dark chocolate stilton torte-it's to die for!
Pros: Food, wine, service

I waited to write a review until after my third trip to Vin. Was afraid that the name change and thematic identity design crisis of patio fine dining in a strip center would translate into inconsistent, unispired food and bad service. Not the case at all. I've dined here with business partners, family members and friends and we have never had anything but delicious cuisine, fantastic wine and attentive service. These guys are at their best when you engage them. Love food? Ask to talk to the Chef and sit back and be impressed while he explains his food conceptually. Love wine but consider yourself a novice at pairing? This is the place to ask the questions. The location provides an inherent challenge as you'd never just stumble upon it and the apparent lack of a local marketing budget means the success rides entirely on word of mouth. I loved it, will be back and suggest you try Vin Bistro.
Pros: Great food, knowledgable staff, easy parking
Cons: Difficult location

I'm big on service, which was excellant. Then the freakin food the chef put out was sick it was so good. The guy comes out to my table to make sure all is well and couldn't of been more professional and sharp. Just like the big time, big city chef. The wine recommendations from our waiter was perfect. Only downside was the aircon couldn't keep up with the heat and you could tell the owner hadn't put any real money in the place to keep it up to speed. What a shame. That quality chef and staff will only stay in that dive as long as they have to. No worries, word will travel and i will follow.

Room was hot, service was casual and almost uninterested, and menu too ambitious for apparent lack of expertise. Food is way too average for price.

If you want a great wine pairing this is it but I found the staff is intelligent enough to know all the wines and impressed with the chef way of good spices and herbs. Not like Malagas know it all chef who can't cook. This Vin Bistro chef does know how to cook his food! What is not to like about this except parking but that is almost anywhere downtown. Highly recommended! I have tried the the fine wines that are immaculate. Best wine selection!
Pros: staff and wine pairing wine lists
Cons: parking and pricy

The outdoor patio was pleasant, and the service was exceptional, but the food was awful. My husband's risotto was mushy and bland, and my duck was completely raw, fatty, and utterly unchewable. We came home and fixed sandwiches!
Pros: Very nice service, nice patio
Cons: Bad food, no parking

everything here is exquisite. The ambiance, the décor, the chef, and most importantly the food. The tortilla soup is by far the most incredible of its kind. The fish tacos are superb. And the crème Brule trio is to die for. I cant say enough good things about this restaurant!!
