We will miss everything about RedBud. It was our favorite place to go for appetizers and drinks. The staff was very friendly. There really is not any more good restaurants to go to in Westlake. We hope something new and good comes along.
Pros: Great Palce
Cons: It is closed!

that in this world of ours, sometimes you dont get what you expect. As in this resturant, we heard that it was a nice place to go. As it turns out it was just a mere below average resturant.... too bad.....
Pros: none, it is closed
Cons: worst food, and experience ever.

WOW! We loved everything about this place. We are sorry there has ever been a bad review. We started off with the Seared Ahi Tuna and the Oysters contraband. The Oysters are very similar to the ones at Jeffery's, but RedBud's oysters are better and less expensive. My wife had the Seared Salmon that was cooked perfectly and I had the Chicken Fried Steak that was hands down, the best I have ever had. The cream gravy is homemade with peppered smoked bacon drippings. I was sorry when I was finished! For dessert she had the Carrot Cake which was fresh and moist and I had the Amarretto Pear which was to die for. It had creme brulee, sliced pears, amarretto and whipped cream. WOW! Our server was attentive, but not overly so and our food arrived in a timely organized manner. We will definitely be back!
Pros: We loved everything about this place!
Cons: NONE!

Great bar. I think they have T.V. too, so you can enjoy a cocktail and watch some sports. Delicious seafood, sauteed spinach, burgers, salads, and the best deserts in town. Save up for the calories, because their desserts are sensational. It's not too crowded at night. I would recommend it for a group, you'll be able to hear each other. Conveniently located close to MoPac and Bee Cave Rd., Nordstrom's and Barton Creek Mall are a short distance away, as well as downtown Austin and Zilker Park. It's O.K. for kids too. I haven't ever had a problem with the staff, they have been very good.
Pros: Not too loud or too crowed. Great food and especially great desserts.
Cons: Not one I know of.

Redbud has the poorest excuses for wait help I've ever experienced. This establishment is beautifully decorated & has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere, and the food is pretty good. The sevice that is received (or I should say LACK OF) is sure to cause this resturaunt to fail. My advice would be to get rid of the Westlake "brats" that are working there , and get a proffessional wait staff to properly service your customers.
Pros: good ambience
Cons: HORRIBLE service

We've dined here a few times now and have always been pleased. It's not a fancy place and the service is a little unenthusiastic, but the food is reliable. I've had sandwiches and my husband says the hamburgers are great. There is one night a week when kids eat free, if you are looking for a bargain give them a call!
Pros: good food
Cons: Service

Cons: Seating not comfortable

This was one of the worst Austin dining experiences in my twenty two years of living here. The food was horrible, the service was bad, and it took forever to get the bill. I will not be dining there again.
Pros: It's in Westlake
Cons: Food and service bad

I have not been in a couple of months and everything was better than the first time I went. Seems like it is getting better with age. The waiter was eager to tell me that RedBud had been open for a year now. Keep it up! I will come back again soon!
Pros: Excellent Food! Great Service!!
Cons: I can't eat here every day!

I haven't had a bad meal yet at Red Bud. There is a nice menu selection and some good entrees to choose from. I always get some sort of seafood item but my wife says the salads and sandwiches are good as well. Definitely worth checking out.
Pros: Menu Selection, Good parking, Quick Service
