I was looking for a massage that would help balance and relax me. I have had accupressure in the past. This massage was much more than I had even hoped. A wonderful environment, calm and soothing. And, most important, an incredible massage. Clearly, Kristi is a deeply spiritual person who has found her calling. She is gracious, and very skilled. Her massage combines gentility with appropriate force. She is able to get to the edge and use it to relax muscles. I am still deeply relaxed .I was so relaxed it took me 45 minutes to be able to get back into an automobile. I will go back soon.

- Cons: Would be easier to be in a more commerical location. But the ambience is very attractive.

Last week I had the most incredible experience at ZEN BLEND Massage in Austin. You have to check this place out! Kristi really is the BEST massage therapist. She created a relaxing and holistic atmosphere. My muscles were so tense and my stress level was so high that I didn't think anyone could help me, but the combination of the float/massage did the trick. After my float/massage we had yummy tea and I left with a smile on my face. I'm lucky to have found ZEN BLEND and will be going back on a regular basis!

I received a gift certificate from my husband (a early Christmas present) and I just got back about an hour ago. I just had to say how much I enjoyed my massage and my time at Zen Blend. First off, I have to say that Kristi really is amazing!!! I'm still not sure what Zen Massage is, but I do know I feel sooooo good. I went in with a lot of muscle tension in my neck and mentally I have just been feeling "frazzled" and just need a break from everything. I've had 4 massages since we moved to Austin and none of them came close this. Not only was the massage the best I've had, but afterwards she sat and had tea with me and it felt like chatting with an old friend. I really feel lucky to have found her.

I chose Zen Blend after finding it on Citysearch. It was nearby and I was intrigued by the flotation tank. My fiance and I went in for the Relaxation Day for 2. It is really affordable for all the extras they provide. Kristi is very down-to-earth, very knowledgeable, and she has the gift of healing. My back was a mess and and she found all my tender spots and worked on them one at a time. The hot stones feel divine. The flotation tank seems intense at first but it is so peaceful inside. One hour in there felt like fifteen minutes. they provide everything you will need. Definitely do not shave any part of your body beforehand or it will sting like crazy. I had a small cut on my arm that I neglected to coat with the (un)vaseline they provided and it was really distracting for a while until the pain from the salt subsided. I had the massage first and then went in so I really think that helped my recently worked muscles heal whereas my fiance felt that having the float first made his muscles fully loose and relaxed to get maximum benefits from the massage. So I'm sure there are benefits to doing it in either order. Try it and you'll be back for more. I have recommended ZenBlend to all my friends.

I was looking for a new massage therapist online and ran across the citysearch reviews. I am so glad I called - this was by far the most relaxing massage I've ever had. Kristi really makes you feel comfortable and the atmosphere and location are great. I would go every week if I could, but will definitely go every month. I recommend the 1 1/2 hour massage - the aromatherapy, hot towels and hot stone massage were divine. The hot tea, chocolate and conversation helped bring me back to consciousness!
