I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Air Dynamics for an exceptional job during my recent A/C installation. Luke and his crew showed up on time and were very professional. Like almost everyone in Austin, I suffer from seasonal allergies and felt that my old A/C was the culprit. I had my old unit checked out and found that it had mold on the coils which was definitely contributing to my health problems. I decided on a new unit and Luke took the time to explain my options. I chose a unit with a HEPA filter and a UV light addition. Since the installation, I can positively say that my allergies have definitely been reduced by the cleaner air in my home. I would highly recommend Air Dynamics to my family and friends. GREAT JOB GUYS!

Luke came out to give me an estimate on a new central air/heating unit. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly to me though, was that he could have easily sold me a whole new system at the time, instead he suggested his guys fix it for now at about 1/20th the cost of a new unit. His crew arrived shortly, repaired the broken blower quickly, efficiently and courteously. The system is working great now. Since it's so old it will need to be replaced soon, as far as I'm concerned, Luke gets the job when the time comes.

I'm very happy with the job that Luke and his crew did, replacing my 20-year-old central heat and air system. I found them via citysearch and I was a bit wary because of the great reviews by people who had only made one review, but it must have had more to do with the maturity of the site than any gaming of the system. I got 3 bids and Air Dynamics was the cheapest and had the best information to help me decide. Although he is clearly a busy man, Luke will take the time to answer any questions and put things in perspective, such as stating that most compressors in the US are made by 2 companies. I opted for a Goodman system, and, because I have an 80--year-old house, I asked for several other things, such as new ducts, and fixing old problems. This was probably not a typical installation. Luke went above and beyond, even installing a drop-down ladder at a good price, since the entry to the attic needed to be enlarged. The only negative that I can fault his crew is that they didn't do a great job of cleaning up or covering furniture before working, so I would move and cover things yourself if you use them. In the grand scheme of things, this is really, really minor and worth the trade-off for the excellent installation.

Pros: good work on a complex job

Cons: a little messy when they left. not that big of a deal, and probably typical.

Luke was a breath of fresh (cool!) air! After a terrible experience with another firm, my husband found Austin Air Dynamics. Luke fixed in 15 minutes what another firm finally said they couldn't fix -- he was prompt, courteous, informative, and knew his stuff. He will be our go-to guy for maintenance and repair, and I can't say enough good about his service. Use him -- you won't be sorry!

Our 11 year old AC quit discharging cold air (apparently you can't saw B L O W I N G on this site) - after calling two high pressure companies who wanted to CHARGE me to send someone out for a quote I searched online and was impressed with the comments about Austin Air Dynamics and Luke Garcia I read here. His impressive rating and the fact that I prefer to support a locally owned business (working for one myself) I called. Luke was PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL and gave me an accurate quote that he stood behind even when it was more work than originally anticipated. Luke explained the situation and options in a factual but no pressure way that I was comfortable with. I also appreciated NOT being talked down to or demeaned in the way that happens so often when service people deal with women handling a "crisis" situation. Luke diagnosed the problem correctly the first time, and when Luke and the technicians showed up the next day ON TIME they also installed some safety features that were missing on the original setup AND created a setup that made it SIMPLE to change the filter, unlike the battle we used to have to deal with. They even cleaned up so well after themselves (and this dirty job) that it was like they were never here! Our AC b l o w s like new - thank you!

I cannot say enough about this company. Owner "LUKE" is honest, hard working, diligent, and truly looks out for his customers. Unmatched price and service. Replaced my inside/outside unit. I recommend without reservation.

I highly recommend Luke and Air Dynamics. Our 20 year old HVAC units were starting to become a bit risky - who wants them to die in the middle of an Austin summer? We got quotes from three different providers, Luke and two "service companies". The service companies tried scare tactics with a woman and totally missed/neglected to mention that we had lost all the insulation around my ducts (what was going to happen when they actually were doing the work? "oh ma'am, it turns out that....and for an extra $$$ we can fix it...."????) Luke came in, did a thorough review, described everything that he found, and gave me honest recommendations. His bid, with everything, was on par with the service company (the ones that didn't mention the ducts). He specs units that were the right size (not to big, not too small) so that we didn't overpay for something that we didn't need. His team, when they came to install, were clean, curteous, efficient and friendly. During the replacement a small fizzure (can't call it a c r a c k because that is an inappropriate word with CitySearch) appeared in our ceiling. Luke came right out the next day and fixed it, with no fuss. We have now had our first electricity bill with our new units and have already seen a $50-75 reduction in our bill. I first called Luke based on the CitySearch recommendations and I was not disappointed. I HIGHLY recommend Luke - he does air conditioning/HVAC and he does it well.

One of my central A/C units went out recently, and Luke replaced it with a bigger, more efficient unit. During the process of deciding on an upgrade he made recommendations but did not push, and went through pros and cons of each of the options I was thinking of, from size to brand to SEER rating. He was never seemed impatient or too busy to answer the questions I thought of over a few days as researched things on the web. I am very satisfied with the unit I finally ended up with; it cools my upstairs better than the old unit, which I think was undersized (ran a lot, and couldn't keep up on really hot days), and my computer room is now cool with the extra duct he put in.

Pros: offer very cheap annual maintenance in early spring

I did considerable research before choosing Austin Air Dynamics. I was naturally concerned about trusting my AC system to a stranger, but the reviews I read about AAD on Citysearch were so overwhelmingly positive that I made the call. I'm very glad I did. Luke was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and skilled. He diagnosed my problems quickly, and he and his assistant had my long-standing AC problems fixed in no time. The house is now the coolest it's been since we bought it, and the total cost was unbelievably reasonable. I don't remember the last time I was this pleased with a service call.

After extensive research into the company, products and other options I choose an AMANA from AIr Dynamics. Their sales man, John Vasquez, was very knowledgeable on the products, did not try and sell me services and goods I did not need, and answered all my questions. the install was a clean neat professional job done within a day of my accepting their bid and for exactly the price quoted. I highly recommend them and will use them again when my older unit also fails.
