My experience with Downtown Dental Design has been simply wonderful. * Operating * Separate visits were assisted by Kate and Veronica. Dr. Eslami coordinated seamless with both of them while working on my teeth. Only needing to speak in concise, specific langauge to each other, the assistant consistently had the next step prepped. It was almost like having a four-armed dentist. * Pain / Comfort * I needed Novocaine for some work. First, she applied a topical analgesic. When she gave me the shot, I literally wasn't sure what she was doing. when she pulled her hand away, I had to watch to see if she was holding a needle to verify. I was given two more shots (for different locations), and I honestly didn't feel the slightest discomfort. * Cosmetics * As part of my work, she applied composite resin to a site of receded gum. Although the intent was to protect the tooth dentin, it was on a "visible" tooth. Without needing any prompting, the work was clearly done with aesthetics in mind. The color matches flawlessly, and there is no discontinuity in shape or form to reveal the artificial material. * Follow Up * Although I had a minor complication, it was exactly what Dr. Eslami asked me to watch for (aware that it wasn't always preventable). I left a message overnight. I was called first thing in the morning and given an appointment for later that morning. Then I walked out of the office, all fixed up, after just a brief visit. * Courtesy * I don't know if I had too much caffeine, but for some reason I was peppering Esalmi with questions. She was very patient, took time to answer everything, and waited to see if I had anything further. The rest of her staff were all also sublimely pleasant. * Efficiency * When I walked into the office for appointments, I was not relegated to the waiting lounge. I was quickly brought to a chair, and work quickly proceeded. The total time for each visit was surprisingly brief.
Pros: Skilled, Efficient, Courteous, Responsive, Great Staff
Cons: I don't have any reason to go back for six more months.

I love Dr. Eslami's office. Like most people, I am not exactly a fan of dental appointments, the doctor is gentle and friendly. The new massage chair helps, too. I didn't want to get up after my teeth were cleaned! The office is impeccably clean, too.
Pros: Gentle and clean

Back in the day, I met Dr. Eslami and she told me that she was a dentist. I couldn't believe it because I had just moved to Austin and needed a dentist. I remember the days when I would be really nervous to visit the dentist but Dr. Eslami changed my entire view on the experience. Dr. Negar Eslami is the greatest dentist of all time!!!!!! She is so extra friendly and I never feel any type of discomfort. It's a bright, sunny, friendly environment, and your teeth feel great while she does her work. You also get to listen to great music and feel extra comfort with the new message chair. From the second you walk in the office to the moment you leave with a great big sparkling smile on your face, it is A+ service the entire time. Wait till you are greeted by Mandi the office manager. She is so sweet! Everyone needs this type of dentist treatment in their lives...
Pros: Top Notch Denistry at its best
Cons: None

Dr. Eslami was very personable and skilled, however her staff leaves much to be desired. Miscommunication on their part has resulted in charges that my insurance will not cover, leaving me with unnecessary bills due. I will not be returning as a patient to this practice, I'm beyond disappointed with my experience.

This is a great family practice. My whole family goes to Dr. Eslami. She and her staff are extremely professional and friendly and they are specially very good with kids. They do great with my 6 and 9 year old. We never have to wait and the fact that there is free parking and plenty of it available at all times is a big plus.
Pros: family friendly, professional service

Dr. Eslami Rules!! I cannot think of a better dentist to go to. I mean are you kidding? You walk in, Mandi greets you with a smile and you immediately feel at ease. Her steady hand gives you assurance from your first cleaning, to your first filling that everything is going to be OK. For a dentists' office that is HUGE!
Pros: 10 out of 10
Cons: NONE

I've lived in and travelled places y'all want to visit, but my favorite place is DDD in Austin. What a friendly dental service it is. An ambiant place with pleasant interiour and welcoming crew. No dental office smells and get this; - A wireless network so you don't waste time. However, put your laptop in sleep mode upon arrival, so you don't waste time booting. Chances are, if you don't, that you'll be called in by the time XP is ready to work. Speaking of which, if you don't like wasting time in general, go Mac! In the chair: Great view and optional music, so bring your favorite headset. Pains? Forget about it. I'm really a chicken when it comes down to it, but these professional hands are just all about taking care. Result: Bright shiny teeth, with no cavities. All ready to meet the world. THX DDD
Pros: Pleasant Crew, no dental smells, comfy furniture and dental chair
Cons: One year until next Austin City Limits, which is my ticket to DDD! Great combo.

Dr. Eslami keeps up to date with her knowledge. I grind my teeth and she created my last night guard. She told me things about my grinding that other dentists here in town had failed to tell me. She is personable and well informed.
Pros: Convenient Location - Free Parking

Was Dr. Eslami's patient at Rose Dental and I followed her to Downtown Dental Design. I would follow her to Houston if I had to :-) I also love the free wifi in the lobby- nice touch.
Pros: Dental care, Downtown, Free and plentiful parking
