Matt Kirsch is a terrific acupuncturist and his craniosacral work is amazing! I have a tendonitis in my thumb called de Quervain's and I have tried a cortizone shot, but that didn't work. My husband suggested acupuncture, so I researched and found Matthew Kirsch. I studied his website and decided to give him a try. First of all, With his soft voice and strong handshake, I knew at once I was in good hands. He is kind and gentle and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I could open up and tell him all my physical and even mental/emotional issues and he listened and then used that information to find the sources of my problems. Now I go regularly, not only for my tendonitis, but for the help he has given me in all areas. I feel that he really gets in tune with my body and allows it to tell him where I need healing. I can see that he is passionate about what he does and this makes a big difference in the effectiveness of the treatment. He is attentive to the needs of the patient. If you want to try acupuncture, but are apprehensive about it, Matt is your answer. Now my husband and I are going in for sessions. I feel that it is so much better than massage, especially in the long run, and it is cheaper! ($75 for 90 minutes). Matt definately gives you your money's worth.

I really appreciate the way Matt took the time to ask questions in order to get to know me and my situation. He is very skilled and sensitive. You can tell he has a great deal of respect for his discipline and concern for his clients. This was my first experience with acupuncture but it certainly won't be my last. Every time I hear a friend talk about a condition or ailment I want to send them straight to Matt. I highly recommend Windows to the Sky.
Pros: took the time to answer questions, showed a great deal of concern

I went to see Mathew Kirsch because I was experiencing back pain, trouble sleeping at night and shoulder and hip discomfort. Mathew had a very calming patient /doctor relationship with me. He took special effort in learning about my history with pain and the symptoms I was having. During my first secession with him he used the acupuncture along with body massage to work on my trouble areas. I was amazed at how it felt! There was no pain at all, and his hands were truly magical in making me feel transformed. Trust me on this! It was amazing! My pain is gone now and I am sleeping much better. I have been to see Mathew several times. Each time I have had a different area of concern and he has helped me each time to alleviate the area I was having trouble with. I highly recommend Mathew to anyone who is having pain or discomfort in any area of your body. You will not be disappointed.

Exceptional skill!! Matthew is talented, intuitive and committed to finding health for each and every little thing I bring to him. He listens and understands from a level of confident expertise I feel most comfortable trusting. I first met Matt in the student clinic while he was finishing his licensing. And as a fellow yogi our paths have been crossing ever since. I trust that you will find your answers in a nurturing and caring environment.
Pros: Exceptional skill! Your window to health and welbeing. Convenient, easy to find.

I followed Matt from when he was a student at the Academy of Oriental Medicine where he was a popular student practioner. I could simply mention some pain and he would instinctively know exactly where to needle or massage. As a Chronic Pain sufferer I've found acupuncture and craniosacral work to help keep the pain under control. I've been a pharmacist for over 20 years and yet also believe in Eastern Medicine and the help it offers. Matt's 90 minute session is a perfect amount of time to do an excellent treatment and he uses the time well.
Pros: effective, intuitive treatments, nice 90 minute sessions
Cons: parking can be tricky

Matthew is an excellent care-giver - he treats the whole person, is very attuned to his patients and has a feather-light touch with the needles. For whatever ails you, I trust that Matt can deliver the right combination of holistic treatments to help.
Pros: Conveniently located in Central Austin on Shaol Creek near Steck.
