Best Hairstylist in Pflugerville
by longhornbella at Citysearch
After 11 years of service, my hairstylist told me that she was planning on selling her salon... 2 months before my wedding day! I frantically started a search for another salon to find someone that could 1) work me in for a trial run 2) meet my needs/wants and 3) be available for my wedding. I finally ended up at Jagged Edge and not only was Brandi able to fit me in for consultation, she also went ahead and worked the schedule to fit in my entire wedding party and my mother... after much shuffling of her stylists. All this on a day that the salon was closed. I just happened to drive up while she was there collecting her calendar for the next day.
Needless to say, after 2 years, our relationship continues... better than ever. She consistently works to fit her customers into her schedule as it fits there's. She custom fits my haircuts as well as my hair color and keeps a record of what I like and don't like. She is such a joy to work with and spend time with. The salon also has a great homey feel that makes it a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The icing on the cake is that she is conveniently located in downtown Pflugerville. Not only have I recommended her to a few of my neighbors... they've also recommended her to their friends!
- Pros: Expertise, Personable, Price
- Cons: None!
Brandi is the best
by AstroS at Citysearch
Brandi is amazing. A friend recommended her by saying "Brandi is the only person I will let cut my hair." Though, I am not sure if I would feel the same if I saw someone else, but Brandi does help the newer staff & Diane is very friendly and seems very experienced as well.
I used to HATE my hair most of my life, and now I get compliments on it pretty often, and my hair is a lot more manageable.
Honestly, I gave a 5 star, but if I had to say anything negative it would be:
color -- sometimes they make a little more dramatic than you want, but it works out in the long run when your color will always fade some anyway..they know best, but just prepare to not dye right before a big event or be very vocal if you don't want dramatic highlights, etc
overbooking -- they seem to be pretty busy, but you can book on a less busy day or just bring a book...I've never had to wait too long, and it's a nice break for me...if you are in a major time crunch, though, go elsewhere...but the quality makes up for the time there
- Pros: friendly, quality
- Cons: sometimes overbooked
Very Disappointing

Really bad do not get your hair cut here if you are middle aged or older and/or overwight. My wishes - not to mention my face shape, features and body proportions were completely ignored T
- Pros: Conveniently located
- Cons: Staff were rather rude
The place to go

I go to Jagged Edge Salon all the time. Diane and the rest of the ladies are very friendly and fun to be around. Always busy but worth going are very good at what they do. I highly recommend Jagged Salon and the friends of mine that go there also will tell you the same.
- Pros: service
best nail tech ever!!!
by catsmeow23 at Citysearch
The Jagged Edge is one of the luckiest salons in Texas to have a nail tech like Christy Outlaw. Not only did I walk into the salon for the first time to be greeted kindly by her offering me a beverage but she gave me the best manicure and pedicure I have ever received and very sanitary! She gave a great massage, relieving the stress from the day, made my feet look beautiful (and let me tell you that is no small chore considering that I am on my feet all day long) , and have I mentioned the acrylic nails.... good lord she has talent! If you doubt the talent of this young lady ask to see her nail book! While all of this beyond wonderful treatment was going on we had such a wonderful chat about more important things then what is going on with bald brittney. I definitely give Christy a 10, and highly recommend her to anyone, but a gave the salon a nine because there were a couple of girls that came off kind of rude toward some clients. They obviously don't know how to treat people and won't last in the customer service industry for very long! To make a long story long go see Christy for all of your nail needs.
- Pros: sanitary, very professional and artistic nail tech
- Cons: chatty , rude hairstylists
