Restora Rocks!

If you have ever thought about for cosmetic reasons, or had the need for more serious medical purposes to have any sort of plastic/reconstructive surgery, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ashly Gordon and the entire staff at Restora Austin. Not only are their offices stunningly beautiful and state of the art, but from the very first consultation to your final post surgical follow up, your every need is taken care of in the most professional way. Dr. Gordon?s attention to detail and her personal need for perfection are just the qualities you want in a surgeon. She puts your health and well being at the top of her priority list and no decisions are made with out the utmost of thought. I had a six hour Vaser Liposuction procedure that most doctor?s would spend three hours on, but Dr. Gordon takes the extra time and care to ensure the absolute best possible results, and she utilizes the latest and most advanced technologies available, She is an artist as much as she is a surgeon. In a health care industry that seems to have forgotten the meaning of the word care, it is refreshing to find someone as understanding and nurturing as is Dr. Gordon and her whole staff.

Dr. Reid is AMAZING!!

Dr. Reid is simply amazing! He took the time to truly understand my concern for wanting to improve my self esteem. He is knowledgeable, genuine, caring, and supportive. I had researched several plastic surgeons before I made my final decision, and Dr. Reid was my first choice! I plan to return to him several years from now for a tummy tuck after I have children. Dr. Reid is the best!!

Don't have cosmetic surgery without seeing Dr. Reid first!

Dr. Reid performed my wife's breast augmentation surgery a few months ago and she looks amazing! I'm writing this review for all the husbands and boyfriends who have wives or girlfriends who are thinking about having this surgery and looking for a great doctor. So here is how it all went down: I wanted to support my wife in her decision to have surgery, even though I didn't think she needed it. (Besides, I've realized that whenever she decides on something, there's no talking her out of it.) She gave me the names of doctors she wanted to see for consultations. I immediately started researching the doctors and Dr. Reid's credentials were definitely the most impressive (check out his bio page on the Restora website ). Once we met Dr. Reid, we were both completely sure that he was the best doctor for her. He made sure we both felt comfortable and took the time to answer all of our questions in a patient and understanding manner. He really made sure he listened to her and understood what SHE wanted. He didn't leave the room until we were all on the same page and he knew exactly what she wanted - to look natural and proportionate. And that's exactly what he gave her. What Dr. Reid has done for her confidence is truly miraculous (which turns out to be good for me, too)! I appreciate how skillful he is as a surgeon as well as how personable, kind, professional, and compassionate he is. So if you or your significant other are thinking of having any kind of plastic surgery, you really need to meet Dr. Reid and the rest of the staff at Restora Austin!! You can't help but be impressed by the entire experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

Dr. Gordon is my hero!

I had been researching and looking into breast augmentation for about three years. I had a few consultations, but I was lucky enough to find Dr. Gordon, and have her perform the breast augmentation on me. It's only been a week since my surgery, and I am truly amazed. I am amazed by the results; they feel and look totally natural. Not just that-they're perfect! I am eternally grateful for everything she has done. The staff at Restora was unbelievable. They were perhaps the nicest, most professional, people I have ever met, and they were very knowledgable about the field of plastic surgery. I didn't leave with any unanswered questions. Not to mention, they made me feel totally comfortable even with my clothes off! Dr. Gordon also removed a mole from my lip, and upon waking up from surgery, it felt no worse than a cold sore, and within a few days, my stitched dissolved, and you can't even tell there was ever a mole! I actually forgot I had it! Without a doubt, I would recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone looking into plastic surgery. She's truly gifted.

Best Plastic Surgeon in Austin

I had an abdominoplasty recently and my experience with Dr. Gordon and the entire staff at Restora was OUTSTANDING. She is a skilled and gifted surgeon with an eye of an artist. Dr. Gordon has a keen sense of the natural curves that makes a woman beautiful and works to create that outcome; the result is my perfectly sculptured figure. I look and feel wonderful! I never thought I could look this good!

When I began looking for a plastic surgeon, I researched many doctors’ websites looking for strong credentials. Dr. Gordon’s are stellar. Moreover, I was looking for a woman doctor for this very important surgery. In my opinion, only a woman understands and relates to another woman’s thoughts, fears and needs and Dr. Gordon was a star at relating and communicating with a calm compassionate manner.

I had had a two other consultations with plastic surgeons prior to meeting Dr. Gordon and both my husband and I felt that she answered our questions the most thoroughly. She never seemed pressured, hurried or offended when we went through our long list of questions. I always felt that I had her full attention when she was with me; even AFTER the surgery. I liked that..I was important to her…that’s impressive.

I recommend Dr. Gordon completely!

Dr Reid...AMAZING!!

My experience with Restora Austin was stellar from my first phone call to "ask a few questions and maybe set up a consultation". I called at 4:55pm on a Monday, and Ja-Ann, the Patient Care Coordinator, talked to me for 25 minutes asking me pertinent questions and sharing her personal experiences without rushing through anything. She was able to get me in 2 days later for a consult with Dr. Reid. On Tuesday, I made appointments with 2 other surgeons for consults the next week (I do my research on these things). But as my husband and I entered the office for the consultation, we were blown away with how serene and BEAUTIFUL the office was and then by how warmly we were greeted by every staff member in the general vicinity.

During the consultation, I asked Dr. Reid about 100 questions, and he answered them with much patience and knowledge. I never felt rushed, and he took his time going over every detail. As soon as he left the room, my husband said, "Why would you want to go anywhere else? I feel completely confident that Dr. Reid will give you exactly what you want, and I really LIKE him and trusted him instantly." I agreed wholeheartedly. So with that, we moved into a room with Ja-Ann and promptly set my surgery date for the very next week and canceled the other consultations.

My surgical experience was a breeze. They couldn't have made me feel more comfortable and at ease with their professional, yet lighthearted personalities. I awoke from the surgery with very little pain or discomfort. I was never rushed to get out of the surgical center....which was EXTREMELY nice. They sent us home with detailed instructions that we followed religiously. I had virtually no bruising and minimal swelling. They even called every day for 3 days to see how I was doing.

For my first post-op appointment, Dr. Reid was out of town, so I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gordon. She is equally as wonderful and treated me as if I were her own patient.

I recently went for my 6 week post-op appointment, and I look and feel AMAZING. Dr. Reid accomplished EXACTLY what I wanted, but I look even better than I thought I would. My expectations had far been exceeded, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. The staff and office is so warm and inviting, that I was actually a little sad to leave.

I have had several consultations and a few procedures over the years, and I have accompanied many of my friends on consultations. I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly, so I have a great frame of reference. Restora Austin is by far the BEST experience I have ever had from start to finish, and I would recommend them to anyone considering cosmetic surgery (and already have to several people). You will not regret it!!!

Dr. Ashley Gordon-Restora Austin

I am 3 months post-op today having had breast reduction surgery by Dr. Ashley Gordon of Restora Austin. I knew I wanted a female surgeon-one who could understand how to make my look natural; I wanted to have the curves that are natural in a female body. When I first met Dr. Gordon, it was like a chat with a really good friend. A very casual and safe environment, never pushy, never a 'sales job'...always on my time table...when I was ready to move to the next level-they would be ready, too. Dr. Gordon has a unique communication style-straight forward, factual...but with a sense of genuine care, support and concern. There's a difference in answering questions-and supporting a patient's desired outcome in a realistic honest manner. In this, she is also gifted. With the support of her own office team-all who share the same common philosophy, the whole process was significantly enhanced. It is reassuring when, no matter who the question is asked of, the answers follow along the same philosophy of the doctor. Dr. Gordon aligns herself with the top notch surgery support team as well-from the surgical facility, the nurses, and the anesthesiologist-all top notch. There is a common thread through the entire process-everyone is on the same page. Of course, the big question is how did my surgery turn out? EXCEPTIONAL. I went from a size I to a full D. Over 2400 grams removed, over 5 pounds. My scarring is so minimal it's unreal. There is NO wide open scars-nothing like the horrible photos. I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with the results. I'm happier, more confident-and definitely feel the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. My best friend has already had two procedures with Dr. Gordon-both with exceptional outcomes. My mother-in-law (who I dearly love!) is scheduled for treatment as well. I will continue to recommend Dr. Gordon to everyone!

Dr. Ashley Gordon and the Restora team ... AMAZING!!

Let me start by saying that I am not only a physician but a fellow surgeon (in another field), so my expectations were VERY high. Well ... those expectations were EXCEEDED beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

The office/practice is stunning and gorgeous. From my first interaction with the Restora team (preop) through my postop recovery, they have been the utmost professional, compassionate, and caring. It is an absolute pleasure to interact with Dr. Gordon's staff as they prepare you for your operative experience.

Dr. Ashley Gordon is extraordinarily talented as a surgeon and she melds the worlds of science and art seamlessly. It is clear from your first consultation with her that she is the consummate perfectionist and possesses a burning passion for the field of plastics/reconstruction/aesthetics. She truly understands the patient as a person and strives to provide them with exactly the natural results they desire.

My surgery was performed in a state of the art out-patient center with Dr. Gordon utilizing the most cutting edge aesthetic technology. I am currently 4 weeks postop and could not be happier with my experience. Under the direction of Dr. Gordon and her team my recovery has been extremely smooth. Her results are, simply put, beautiful!!

Anyone considering a plastic, cosmetic, reconstructive or aesthetic procedure should request a consultation with Dr. Gordon (or her partner Dr. Reid) -- One could not ask for a more perfect experience!

Restora Austin Restored My Faith! Today someone told me I looked 24!

After a terrible nightmare of an experience with another plastic surgeon several years ago, I didn't think I would ever find a doctor I could really trust. Not only did Dr. Ashley Gordon repair the damage done by the first doctor but she made me better than ever! It has been life changing and I feel so good about my appearance now. In fact, I trust her so much that I've had her perform several procedures over the past year and the results are amazing and so natural! Words can never express how greatful I am to her. If you are thinking about having any cosmetic work done, even minor work, I highly recommend you make a consultation to see her. By the way, I'm not even close to 24 years old!

Dr. Gordon is GREAT!!

Staff is amazing, Dr. Gordon is amazing. Caring and concerned and listened to my needs and wants and literally (corny) made my dreams come true. I am one week post-op and wasn't expecting to feel or look this good for months, but Dr. Gordon knew exactly what to do and how to execute it. Trust in her experience and judgment and you can't go wrong!! After several consults, this was the only place in Austin that really made me feel like they wanted to help me achieve my goals, not just get my money. Also, Ja-Ann, the Patient Coordinator, is one of the most caring and enthusiastic people! She made the whole experience seamlessly ... awesome!! :-)
