I've been to most of the salons in Westlake and by far this salon is the best. I don't know if this helps clients but when I moved to Austin I was ScAreD for someone new to do my hair. Lisa and Virginia are GooD I've been to both so if your new to Austin try either of them. I hope this helps. -The Stylist are Nice and they make sure that you are comfortably happpy when you leave.

Lisa has been styling my hair for 13 years. I always receive a great hair cut . I look a lot better leaving than what I did when I entered the salon.

I have gone to Salone di Essenza several times now for highlights. Virginia, Curry, & Cary have given me fabulous looking hair each time. It's great I can get my eyebrows waxed there too! Everyone is so friendly & makes me feel welcomed.

My co-worker always has the most gorgeous hair & she told me to go to Lisa. I have done highlights in the past but over time I just become too blonde. I have brown hair & just wanted natural highlights. Lisa did what she called a "sun-kissed" look. It really brightened up my dull brown hair. I absolutely LOVE IT!! Thank you SO MUCH for making me gorgeous too!

Nothing I received at this salon was worth the amount of money and time I spent 1) scheduling an appointment with the owner/receptionist, who needed to reschedule it twice; 2) waiting for a late hairdresser which was not the one I had booked my appointment with; and 3) leaving with a hairstyle which cost twice as much as it was worth and looked unprofessional.

Pros: Unfortunately this salon is located in Westlake.

Cons: Unprofessional; Unreliable.

There is an old joke about why the Queen of England always wear a hat. She has white girl hair! Well I would be wearing a hat all the time too if not for Virginia Bell's great haircuts. Fine, frizzy and mousy before and since starting with Virginia I get accolades weekly if not daily! (she does my color, too)

It is hard to find the combination of a hip stylist and a traditional barber. Salone di Essenza has that in Virginia Bell. She always knows how to get that fresh new look, and still get my hair perfectly faded around the sides and the back - just the way I like it. Virginia has been cutting my hair for over twenty years, and she'll be the one I visit the next time I need to look my best.

Virginia Bell does a top job on hair color and highlights. I go to Virginia to add sunlight and a natural healthy look to my hair! on a regular basis! She's terrific!

Hi Lisa! You did a partial highlight and cut yesterday on me. I LOVE MY HAIR!!! I love how natural it looks and the style, cut everything. Thank you so much! Please, record whatever color you used and the cut because I LOVE IT! Thanks again for helping me take the 'brass' out. :)

Don't let Jen's crazy hair and tattoo's fool you - she's an expert who can give you any type of color and style, from funky to high-class. She's the only one I let cut and color my hair, and I've recently asked her to do the up-dos on the wedding party for my up-coming wedding. She's been my stylist for three years now, and I love her new berth at Salone di Essenza. It's a good location (with doughnuts and coffee right next door for those early-morning appointments) and the other stylists are great ladies as well.
