I've gone to a lot of tanning salons, and this is one of the best I've found in Austin. I've had a membership here for about 18 months. I wasn't very pleased with the first owner/manager and the way things were run in the past (closing early/opening late, apathetic staff, dirty beds.) However, under the direction of the new owner, there has been a complete change in how things are run. The new owner has hired staff who are knowledgeable, attentive, energetic. The beds are clean - always. The VIP membership I bought was a bargain, and I received a deluxe goody bag. With membership, I have unlimited tanning in the Level 1 beds; the Level 1 beds are better than a lot of salons higher level beds. I buy session points to upgrade to the higher level beds, one of which is a Sportareddo stand-up booth. Although I don't use it, Image Sun has a Mystic Tan. They carry Swedish Beauty and Australian Gold brand lotions and, even though I don't use these brands of lotion, they seem to have a good selection, and the staff is knowledgeable about the lotions. (I wish they carried Designer Skin or Synergy!) The hours of operation fit right into my schedule, and the location couldn't be any better - right between WalMart and Petsmart off I-35 @ Slaughter.
Pros: Great location, clean beds and salon, awesome staff, easy parking
Cons: During peak months, the wait to get into a bed can be a little long
