Good instruction, good customer service

I have to disagree with the last reviewer. The staff was very accommodating and friendly when I had to put my lessons on hold for personal reasons. Maybe you just need to talk to them ahead of time? The instructors make learning fun and enjoyable and even though the classes sometimes get a little crowded, the floors from what I understand, are some of the biggest in Austin. Recommended.

Dance Elsewhere.

The space was not big enough for the class and everyone had difficulty avoiding other people because there was not room to work around the floor.

Their customer service could use some improvement as well. The short version complaint is this: Don't let them talk you into buying a bundle of lessons instead of buying them individually. They set it up so that they can expire on you in a relatively short time period and you will just be out of luck.

We tried to talk to the manager (before our lessons expired) to allow us to push back the expiration date so that we could wait and start out lessons at the beginning of the month (when lessons begin). They refused our request and we were forced to join a class where we were behind rather than being able to start from the beginning.

Had they known anything about customer service, we would have left happy and would have come back for dancing lessons for an upcoming wedding. Instead, i will save myself the headache and look elsewhere. I would suggest you do the same.

So Much FUN!

I have been a student at Go Dance now for over a year and have to say that it has been a wonderful experience! I am so impressed with the staff and ownership of the studio. I've made many friends and feel that I have greatly improved my ability to dance socially in any setting. The group classes are fun and the instructors do a great job of making sure everyone is learning and having fun, regardless of their skill level. The studio offers 3 different dance levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) and also offers private lessons. They also put on very fun dance parties every month where you can put what you've learn to good use.

At first I was intimidated to come without a partner, but soon found that it is no big deal. Most people come without partners, so the instructors just rotate you around the room so you get to dance with everyone.

People have asked me what my favorite dance is...but it is too hard to pick. In the latin dances, I think Cha Cha is my favorite. In the Ballroom dances, I think Waltz is my favorite. I love West Coast Swing and have even enjoyed the freestyle dance classes. And of course, learning all the country dances has been put to good use in the local dance halls around Texas!

• Pros: Great Instructors & Environment-Fun way to stay active
• Cons: So much fun-you'll find yourself there every night of the week!
