I suffer from a crushed vertibre (mountain bike accident about 15 years ago) and have seen several other chiropractors. This clinic has the best technology and expertise of any I have found. After a few weeks of treatment I am feeling relief I never have before. I will shop no more for a good chiropractic clinic. Bart specializes in sports related injury and knows how to get you back on your feet. The receptionist is extremely nice and friendly as well. I look forward to my next visit.

I initially sought out a consultation with Dr. Atencio after I had three epidurals, and had tried months of medicine with only minor relief. Dr. Atencio did a very good examination and started treatment that week. After 6 sessions my lower back pain and leg pain from my herniated disc was 70% better. After another 3 sessions of decompression therapy my pain was gone. The decompression treatments were easy, and I basically slept through my treatments. I also did some rehab. on a high tech strengthening device that also helped me a lot. I am now able to stand as long as I want without pain. The clinic has the best and latest equipment available for non-surgical treatment. I found the location to be centrally located and really convenient, right on the corner of Jollyville and Duval. They run the clinic well, and made sure I never had to wait long in the waiting room. The staff is wonderful. Dr. Atencio is so kind and always made me feel so comfortable and important. Lovely clinic. Fair price for the technology being offerred. The price was comparable to others, yet the technology was so much better. As they say, you get what you pay for. I am pleased and will continue to refer people in pain to Dr. Atencio. Two thumbs way up for Texas Spine and Sports Therapy Center..... A wonderful choice! Nicest Chiropractor Ive ever met.

The cost was higher than average for traditional chiro services. I felt like I was getting a sales pitch for the 20 session treatment with the Spinal Decompression machine. The per session cost was also $20-50 more than I've seen in other offices. The office is very nicely decorated but it the prices were too high for my taste. The receptionist was very friendly.

As a competitive runner and years of intense training, I had developed plantar fasciitis, resulting in constant pain in my foot with any pressure. I met with several doctors including foot specialists, but Dr. Atencio was the only that could provide a real cure. Through several short sessions using the Active Release Technique, he improved my condition and without any shots or medications. I felt better from the first session and have been able to resume my training again as a result. Additionally, Dr. Atencio has provided other chiropractic services and counsel to help me train stronger and live healthier. He is very professional and provides very clear explanations and instructions. He stays current in industry knowledge and the best options available. I am committed for life!

My visit with Dr. Bart was incredible. He used an Active Release Technique that helped me with my tense, sore muscles and adjusted me so well that I can actually move with ease again! I can finally take care of my kids, pain free! He gave me more than just relief. He instructed me on what I can do at home to continue my progress. He was so kind, caring and very informative. I felt like I was important to him as a person. He spent as much time as I needed so I can understand my situation. Thank you Dr. Bart for helping me get my life back! He helped me when no other could. My body thanks him! I never thought I could feel this good again. I'm so excited! I feel 100% better, and I know you can too, it's all worth the visit.

There is nothing more painful than a bad back. Believe me I know, after years of living with back pain I was ready to take the chance and let the doctors operate. They told me all about the risks if things didn't workout as planned... things that I didn't want to hear. I thought surgery was my only hope and I was ready to bite the bullet, until I went for a consultation with Dr. Atencio. It turns out, Dr. Atencio has some of the latest and most technically advanced equipment available today to take care of neck and back pain. Until I met Dr. Antencio, I never heard of the DRX machine for the spine so I did a little research and found out he has one of the best DRX machines in the Austin area. There are a number of machines out there, but I guess they are not all the same. The one at this clinic is the top of the line. For my back, I want only the best Doctors taking care of me using the latest and best equipment. If you are like me, and want to relieve the pain without the risks of surgery, this is the best place to go by far. The Doctor is outstanding and really cares about helping people who have been living with pain. I can' t recommend strongly enough that if you have pain, go in for one of Dr. Atencio's consultations and look the place and equipment over. I have heard people drive for miles to see this doctor. He is well worth it.
