I recently had my hair highlight and cut at Austin Hair Works by Stephanie and loved it!!! My hair never looked better!!! All the staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Also recieved a facial from Andrea and it was great!! I will be going back! Very trendy and upscale salon.

Whatever you do do not waste your time and good money at this place. The most unprofessional, uneducated and simple minded staff you would ever meet. If he paid more money on getting a staff of professionals instead of on the decor, maybe Austin Hair Works could be called a hair salon. From the minute I entered I thought I had arrived back in a Kindergarten classroom. The so called professional staff were laughing and giggling around the reception area and did not even acknowledge me for some time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept my appointment for High Lights. WHAT A DISASTER!!!. First of all what seemed to be a very inexperienced person came over and proceeded to tell me what I wanted and I was not even asked my opinion. Again I gave them the benefit of the doubt and let them proceed thinking that they maybe I was wrong and they knew what they are doing. WRONG CONCLUSION. What I wanted was subtle high Ligts, What I got was zebra stripes in my hair. I was devastated!! My hair was ruined . The owner offered for me to come back and re-do it WITH THE SAME PERSON. Are you kidding me. Whatever you do think before you pay the extortionate prices and let very inexperienced staff posing as Master Colorists and Stylists touch your hair. Go anywhere before considering this place.
Pros: Ther are no pros - Not recommended if it was the last salon on earth
Cons: Everything - Crappy service, staff and pricing
