A Genius:

At least that’s what I called David the first time he cut and styled my hair in July ‘09. I had the same hair style for most of my adult life, 20 years. It was time for a change. I know some friends that had been going to DJC for a couple of years and their hair always had great style and gorgeous color. Change is not easy when you have been seeing the same stylist for many years, but I needed a more modern style to suit my personality. David and I worked together to come up with what worked perfectly for me. I love my new style and I have been back to David for more cuts, styles and advice. He has been awesome and I expect to continue my future hair needs with David.

The best hair stylist there is in Austin

I lost my stylist/colorist of fifteen years. After going from hair dresser to hair dresser I found David. He takes his time whether it be a cut or color. The salon is quiet and you can truely relax. He wants his clients to feel great about the way they look when he is finished with their hair. David has been highlighting and cutting my hair for a year now. I was very sceptical on my first visit. I left his salon feeling great about my hair. David listens to what you might suggest and sometimes recommends something else and tells you why whith his soft spoken voice. David is by far the most talented in highlighting and styling that I have ever encountered. People never ask me where I get my hair colored but instead tell me that my hair looks good because the color looks so natural.

Nothing short of the best

Having long hair, I often have problems with stylists either trying to give me a cut that is shorter that what I want or has no maintainable style. I caulk both up to inexperience. David is quite honestly the best and he will find something that makes you look like a celebrity if you just let him apply his talent and years of experience with hair. Add light or deep conversation to your liking - no one beats the experience and results with David.

Great place for highlighting and styling

David takes such pride in what he does. He wants his clients to feel great about the way they look when he is finished with their hair. David has been highlighting my hair for 10 years. I leave his salon feeling great about my hair. Not only does he do a tremendous job with highlighting (I always let him pick the colors!), but he also takes great care in styling my hair. David is by far the most talented in highlighting and styling that I have ever encountered.

Fantastic Hair Makeover

I came to see David almost a year ago for a hair makeover. I gave David complete control in selecting the best hair color, highlights, and style he felt would work for me. I could not have been more pleased with the results.

David is the best in Austin.

I've been in Austin since 1979, and I've tried a number of places for styling and coloring. They start out great, but rapidly lose interest in doing their best. I've been going to David for five years, and he has always shown professional interest in doing his best. Whether it's hair styling or color, David is the best there is.

Great attention to detail - Highly recommend

David took his time, listened to my request and made some suggestions. I have to say I was glad i listened to him. I came out of there feeling and looking like a million bucks! He is truly an artist at his trade. His experience shows in the attention to detail and the years of training he has had. All I have to say is "WHERE WAS HE 5 HAIRCUTS AGO???" I am going to recommend him to all my friends and family. Five STARS! A+++

Stylist Extraordinaire

David at DJC Salon is essentially an artist. He takes such a deep interest in the look you are trying to create, and spends as much time as is needed to perfect that look. There is no rush in rush out with David. I have had two haircuts with David, and he was extremely attentive to the style I wanted. I have been very very impressed with his work. He is extraordinary with his knowledge and skill of hair color, and I recommend him highly.

Great Highlights!

A couple weeks ago I had my first appointment with David at DJC Salon inside of Salons Unique. I have had the same hair stylist since my first haircut so I'm kind of attached to her. However, she is based in Dallas. I decided on a whim that I wanted to go blonde for the summer and took a chance on David. I had heard good things about David's salon and called to make an appointment. I could not be happier with my decision to trust my friends and David's color selections for my highlights! I love my hair and everyone else does too. Thanks David!
