Great shop to deal with

by PDubs

We used a coupon they had mailed out and bought a couple bikes and accessories from them. When it came time to pick them up a few days later, the accessories weren't installed and as it turns out, the guy sold us both the wrong size bikes?! So basically, everything about the entire transaction was wrong because of one sales guy.

Got a chance to speak with the manager, and he made the situation more than right. He ordered us the correct size bikes and they were actually this year's models, not the ones we had selected. He also made sure the accessories were installed this time. And he even went so far as to honor our request about specific parts we liked about the previous year's model versus new ones. Combined, he didn't charge us extra either!

All in all, I would definitely recommend this place because they seem to care about making things right when things go wrong.

  • Pros: Customer needs/service, friendly staff, great deals on bikes and accessories.
  • Cons: May not always return calls, but will have the info ready when you call them.

Excellent Prices, Excellent Service

by averen

I recently purchased a road bike from this location. The sales people were very helpful and knowledgeable. Their Team Performance Membership is an excellent deal. If you buy a bike from them get it! It will save you a good chunk of money in the log run. The membership is $25 but it saved me about $170, plus I ended up getting some nice cycling shoes and other accessories for free because of it...yes they push it hard, it's an excellent deal for anyone that spends money at a bike store!

The service department has been awesome as well. The front derailleur was causing my chain to jump off the track. I happened to be in the area on a ride earlier today and just dropped in and they fixed it immediately.

I can't say enough good things about them. We're getting ready to buy a bike for my wife...we'll be going back to Performance to get it. Life time adjustments, great sales people, excellent service department, and a store manager that wants everyone to be completely satisfied when they walk out the door...can't beat that!

  • Pros: Great prices, excellent service, awesome staff (non-commission sales btw)
  • Cons: Team Performance Membership is pushed a little hard...but well worth it if you're buying a bike.

not a good bike shop

by benlindo

Not a good bike shop. Don't expect any service after the sale. I went there for some maintenance on my bike and left VERY dissatisfied. They did not have the courtesy to call when the work was done. The work done was not done properly and I had to return and ask them to complete the job. The components they installed broke and I had to haggle with them to replace the parts that broke. They had an attitude that the customer was an aggravation and I felt they just wanted me to go away. They hassle you to join their "team membership" program but treat you like dirt afterwards. The mechanics in the back don't seem to like working there and do minimal work then send you away. Avoid this place terrible customer service.

The scent of vulcanized rubber meets the aroma of stretchy, breathable lycra at this two-wheeler dealer.
